The room was cozy and space-y. We all LOVED the breakfast! Bagels, tuna-corn-mayo spread, egg-mayo spread, Israeli salad.... Y-U-M!!! Will definitely return there soon! The neighbourhood was safe, clean and quiet, and the location was good - we could easily get around London. We have stayed in different hotels and hostels all around London so many timeswe can't even count,... More

We stopped in London and were looking for somewhere cheap and cheerful as we were only going to be staying for one night before travelling on to bruges. The king solomon was quite cheap but £68 was still overpriced for what you get. The car park was damaged, there was no socket for the bedside lamp, there was no remote... More

We were unfortunate enough to get this "guaranteed 3 star hotel" via an Expedia booking, what a let down this place is dreadful. The worst night sleep I have ever had and I have camped in an upside down boat (that's for another day). Noisy, dirty, prison like rooms, badly painted walls, springy beds, crap pillows, endless amounts of draws... More

The staff of the hotel were very frightening, even making one of our younger kids (7 year old) cry. One of the group leaders was close enough to call the police because of this. We had molds in room number 25, and the rooms didn't smell well, discluding rooms 69,68,71 and 65. The beds were not comfortable and i have... More

Do not stay here is horrific needs a complete revamp!! Mould everywhere and damp. Felt dirtier after a shower than before I went in after a day at work!! There' is no sound proof what so ever could hear everything from outside and inside the hotel !! It's horrible needs to be done out BADLY!

Enjoyed our stay at King Solomon. Pleased with the facility and services in the given price. Breakfast was also good and reasonable but do need some extras. Beds were comfortable and clean. Free parking is added advantage.

I loved it, the bed was supper comfy and the room had everything I needed and more- plenty of cupboard space which I didn't use. It is perfectly situated among the community and all the shops and restaurants and the library is right opposite. I can't wait to stay there again. I only live a 20 minute drive away but... More

I stayed there for three nights last week and enjoyed my stay. It is pretty basic, granted, but very close to Golders Green Tube and the reception is staffed 24/24. Breakfast is reasonable and includes a choice of three salads in a cosy restaurant with a sheltered garden. It is reasonably quiet, but I was never given a remote control... More

After reading reviews (mostly negative) I have to say that we must have gotten lucky :D we got upgraded to a family room (although it would have been a small family room) from a double. I have no complaints about the room, basic yet clean and comfortable - it was what we were looking for. If we wanted more we... More
