Pros. Comfy enough bed, en suite bathroom, everything was clean, given a free upgrade from single to double & very friendly staff. Cons. Steep staircase low ceiling on the top floor rooms and breakfast was really not up to much... I obviously was not expecting bacon for breakfast or even hot foot beeing a kosher hotel but seriously bagels and... More

Plain, small rooms, uncomfortable location, terrible service, and very basic breakfast. King Solomon Hotel was definitely a budget accommodation. Everything was just below average, except the service. My family and I had heavy suitcases, and with no lift we had to carry these suitcases up a narrow staircase to the top floor. But it was a place to sleep and... More

We chose this hotel for its location to the underground and found it to be just right as our rest place to visit the sites of London. Free car parking welcoming staff and a healthy breakfast what more could you want from a cheap and chearfull place.

If you're paying £60 a night in London then you can't expect much. It's budget accommodation for people on a budget. Not the most comfortable night's sleep I've ever had but it was adequate for the price.

This hotel is not very welcoming ! We were given our keys and told the breakfast times and then told (no pork no bacon in this hotel ?) very rude ! The hotel was full of family members at breakfast which made us feel very uncomfortable ! Not a very british welcome ! Would not stay here ! The breakfast... More

The hotel is being restructured, so some parts of it may look really crappy. The room I had booked didn't match the picture I had seen at the time of booking, and it was quite small and dark. Prices are average, not cheap at all so I expected something more. On a different note, brakfast was quite good. I had... More

The worse place I've ever stayed & glad it was only for one night. Rooms are extremely small, shower door doesn't open far and shower just handheld. It has an extension lead hooked on roof. Little tray with tea & coffee on it but can't use kettle as cable not long enough to reach the roof socket. Bad design all... More

Have stayed in this hotel twice during breaks in London. Left today after a three night stay. Stayed in family room for with my wife and two children. The room was a clean and quiet attic room. Staff were friendly. Breakfast was adequate (although not perfect due to religious constraints). I can't understand why this hotel gets so many bad... More

After travelling by car, down from Cambridge, all over London, and finding ZERO accommodation, this was the only hotel that had room for us. Let me tell you, at 3.00am, with three young children, we needed beds! The travellers reviews are accurate: Dodgy beds, showers, cleanliness. We walked through hallways, upstairs, to find our room - and yes, it is... More
