The only reason I chose this hotel was that had a parking and also was near the tube sation. Stayed 3 nights with family but i had the worse experience of my life. Too noisy and very disturbing sleep. You coud hear people walking and closing doors and this went on throughout the night. I wouldnt ever in my life... More

As I walked into reception I was pleased with my last minute booking, the area is modern yet small, but very clean and the receptionist was very nice. Then we went through the door to walk towards our room and can only describe it as looking like a cracking den, we then got to our room on 1st floor number... More

the worst hotel ever, shabby rooms beyond belief, rude staff, filthy, dangerous, winding narrow corridors and lots of steps, dirty kitchen, dirty toilets, other peoples hair in your shower, serious hot water problems, loads of inappropriate smells coming from rooms such as drugs, the whole place should be condemned on every level, did I say dirty?? well its an understatement.

Let's start with a positive... It's a five minute walk to the tube station. Now, let's talk about the negatives... The room - Our very small room was found at the top of a very narrow stair case. The net curtain was filthy and the bottom of it covered in mould. The double glazing was clearly old and broken as... More

When arriving in the hotel we were not greeted with a smile or even a basic hello by the girl behind the counter , common manners cost nothing . We were told where out room was not even guided , the hall to the rooms smelt like sewers and made me feel sick , the carpet was discustingly dirty ,... More

This hotel is without a doubt the worst hotel I have ever stayed in with the possible exception of a few West African ones. We had two rooms, allocated with complete apathy by the "clerk", who knew that one of our party was on crutches but obviously this was of no interest to him. There are no lifts in this... More

This is honestly the most shabby, horrible hotel I've ever stayed in my entire life. You seriously need to never even think about stopping by at the King Solomon. Everything went wrong. The TV and safe were broken. There was a gigantic slant in the middle of our room (I'm not kidding) that you'd bump your head on at least... More

On a list of the worst hotels we have stayed in over the years, this one comes in at second place. (The winner was Hotel Sud Bahia, Agadir, Morocco). From the moment we walked through the front door and were greeted with total lack of interest by the receptionist I knew we were in for a treat. After eventually finding... More

The rooms was TINY and I mean tiny, the batteries in the remote were dead so I couldn't watch tv. The hot water in the shower was non existent, the staff aren't helpful or seem to know anything about fixing it. The view from the window was basically a wall and the window was also extremely small. There was dust everywhere too... More

Just returned from a weekend stoping at the king Solomon. I have been to many different budget hotels around the world but this one was by far the worst. I have seen a few reviews saying what do you want for £60per night, I expect something better than the dump that is the Solomon that's for sure! Firstly upon arrival... More
