I stayed at this hotel on the 27th april/28th April, I had a single ensuite and this was the same for my mum. My mum's room was on the ground floor and spacious, ensuite, very clean, spacious, tv, tea/coffee, lovely and warm. My room was upstairs, smaller than my mums, but same price which I thought a little unfair. The... More

As others have said you get what you pay for but irrespective of price any establishment that sets itself up to receive guests should adhere to basic standards of service and cleanliness. The building is old and creaks. The bathroom was on the surface adequate but the stains around the rim of the toilet bowl were disgusting. The restaurant is expensive... More

Stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. At first room seemed clean, but there was a smoke smell that wouldn't go away. Second night there were some boys staying at the same corridor as us, which thought it would be funny to spread tooth paste on the handrail. Went to reception to advise the receptionist, not even a thank you.... More

Just come back from a one night stay, i must say i was rather worried about what it was going to be like after reading the reviews and then finding out after i had booked it that my friends had stayed here and said the bathroom was disgusting. We arrived early in the morning and parked the car at the... More

I have stayed before in 3 star hotels in european cities so i am not scaed by a little crowdness and lack of some facilities, but this one is truly below par. For starters - having knowon i would check in no earlier then 22:00, and having no desire to start chasing the receptionists, i emaild the hotel and asked... More

Compared to prices and sizes of hotel rooms in other London hotels, our family room was a good value of money. However, the walls are very thin so if you have noisy neighbours - bad luck for you. More

Stayed here for one night. The room was baking hot with no way of turning the radiator down! It's the only hotel I've ever stayed in where you have to spoon instant coffee into a mug and add hot water at breakfast. I see the rates have gone up another £10 since I stayed. More
