Just £80 for a basic room (which has no shower/toilet, just a wash basin). The bathroom is across the hall or possibly up a flight of stairs and shared with 1 or 2 other rooms. The staff at the Jesmond Dene Hotel were extremely friendly. The rooms were clean, and very warm, shower gel was even provided which was nice. We had a pleasant stay in this hotel. The rooms are small but nice and clean. Breakfast is also very good...typical full English breakfast with good coffee or tea. The staff are friendly and the location is great...three minutes walk from King's Cross station.

We only stayed one night, but enjoyed the hotel emmencely. The breakfast and the staff were great, I would highly recommend this hotel to my friends.
