It's small but it's well structured in such a way that it's just nice for three persons to stay in one room. During the whole stay in this place it just tell me one thing, "space in London = gold". Their breakfast was much better than I thought, they served full english breakfast, which you don't usually find in London... More

We stayed in the apartment downs the road and just a short stroll to the hotel for breakfast, which was a great start to the day. The staff were so friendly and you can't beat the location, 2 minutes walk to the train. Only minus was the noise at night, opposite a subway restaurant and the apartments seem closer to... More

We picked Jesmond Dene for thr price and proximity to Kings Cross Station (less than 2 blocks away). The other consideration was to sleep 4 with 3 beds (so the kids could each have a single). The modest sized room was comfortable considering you are in town in London. The steep stairs and lack of elevator may bother some. My... More

I stayed here for two nights and found the service to be delightful. Whilst they didn't have all the answers to my questions they did do their best to assist. The only criticism I have was one young lad who worked there who failed to acknowledge I was a guest staying in the hotel and questioned me. I was slightly... More

Was an okay visit to this hotel. Cannot really judge it as was only there for a night and had to be up at 4am to get the Eurostar. For that it is perfectly situated. A short walk gets you to St.Pancras station and King's Cross underground station. Sleep was disturbed by idiots outside shouting at 2am, and was hot... More

Was not told upon reservation that we would be sent to "Princess Hotel". Appears to be a classic bait and switch. Do not appear to be same properties and certainly not worth the money. Great location and safe area but recommend you fine a different operation...

I stayed here on 2 weekend in June. It was a great stay, very conveniently located in Kings Cross. One weekend I had the upgraded suite- it was like having your own apartment in the city- really great, well worth it. While it wasn't the closest hotel to the office, I would stay again.

We stayed a couple of nights at this hotel and overall had a good experience. The standard twin room was a tad small but comfortable enough for the two of us. It was a hot weekend in London and I was pleased to get a fan when I asked for one :-) The service was good throughout with a decent... More

Stayed here for one night when travelling on business and wanted something other than a Premier Inn experience. London prices being what they are, the Jesmond Dene offers a decent deal. Across the road from St Pancras but it felt quiet when off the main road. Bit shabby in parts and the reception area in particular needs some work to... More

Lovely welcome, thanks Darren. Nice clean hotel, friendly staff. Great breakfast too. So very handy for St Pancras/Kings Cross Stations. Great place to stay if you have an early train as it is about a 5 minute walk. Also great pub, The Skinners Arms just round the corner for hot meals and great selection of beer.

Staying in Bloomsbury

Neighborhood Profile
Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
