We booked here through Hotels.com and after reading such wonderful reviews we were confident that we has chosen well. The out side is nice and we were greeted warmly upon our arrival. We were told our room was on the top floor and there was no lift. Lugging 2 suitcases 20 KG each up 8 flights and each flight about... More

Visit to London for concert and show. Our room was at the very top of hotel,so staircase could be a problem for some people, and they should advise you of this when booking. However we enjoyed our night there and found the room very comfortable, clean and quiet, which was great. The breakfast was good and we found the staff... More

Clean rooms, good breakfast, wonderful customer service and good communication with the staff prior to our arrival and during our stay. We had to leave early before breakfast the last day and they provided us with food since we would miss the meal. Wifi was spotty at times, but mostly ok. Restaurant choices were limited nearby. Subway stop was close.

I Strongly suggest any travellers, especially for business, against staying at this property. The rooms are third rate. There were no telephones or working internet in the rooms during my stay. The hotel is old and outdated and in serious need of a refurbishment. There is no elevator in the hotel and access to rooms higher than the 1st floor... More

This was a terrible experience for us to endure, and we had to have this guest removed from the hotel by the local authorities. More

Visited London for 2 days for my daughter's 18th Birthday. The hotel room was tidy and clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful, they even held our bags after we checked out so we could continue site seeing and then come back for them later. I would definitely stay here again - Great Location - The staff make this... More

If you're looking for economical lodgings in a good location, Blades Hotel is a great choice. If you are put off by small rooms or having to carry your suitcase up three flights of stairs, then this isn't the hotel for you. For our family, Blades was perfect. Great location, clean and pleasant room, tasty breakfast included, all at a... More

Just stayed the one night, met with excellent service all round. Not one for reviews but just felt obliged to thrash out a quick thanks to the Blades Hotel. The room was clean, tidy and very much fit for purpose. The lady on duty was very polite and very helpful and I would defo stay there again. Cheers

Staying in Pimlico

Neighborhood Profile
Pimlico
Time spent in Pimlico is a slower-paced affair than most other Central London neighborhoods. This largely residential area orderly arranged beside the Thames, is a treasure trove of quaint pubs, subtle architectural charms and local boutiques. Here, art lovers thrill at the chance to visit the world class Tate Britain gallery for its collection of British art from the 1500s to the present. For peace and quiet and some downtime spent along the Thames, Pimlico is highly recommended.
