Arriving in London with nowhere to stay a pleasant guy in the Victoria hotel booking place got me 3 nights here at an excellent price. Room was clean, window opened fine, had a bathroom of its own with a great shower, breakfast was included and I was able to connect to wifi on my BT Wifi account without any problem.... More

Checked in to the Beaver today, was greeted by a 6 foot he/she in reception, which was nice. Was given some form of Brail card as a room key. Nearly broke my back when I checked out how soft the bed was. Funny didn't realise the room came with 3 ironing boards. There are some suspect stains on the sheets... More

If your only other option is sleeping rough on the streets in the middle of winter then I would recommend booking the beaver hotel. If the weather is nice I would have a scout around and see if there are any sheltered door ways or bus stops nearby as you would probably be more comfortable there than in this hotel.... More

Everybody was extremely friendly and could not be more helpful. Good for smokers as there is an outside area with tables and chairs, where you can sit outside and have a drink, one of the staff even provided me with an ashtray. (remember them!). Room was lovely and clean, en-suite was spotless. Breakfast was fresh and hot, nobody rushed us... More

For London prices, this hotel was good value. Good location in a quiet street - 5 minutes from underground station. Staff friendly and helpful. Room very clean, though basic. No coffee/teamaking facilities, but these are available all day in the dining room, plus water. Breakfast a big surprise - cooked and 2 eggs given, plus bacon, sausage. Also yoghurt, fruit, toast,... After a few exhausting days of travel I was just looking forward to a cup of tea and some sleep. I dumped my bags, no tea and coffee facilities, then headed straight for the bed, pulled the throw over back and it was COVERED in stains! So threw it on the floor and all I was left with was a... This was absolutely the worst hotel experience in my life. Stay away! The room was smelly and not very clean (stained bedspread, dusty carpets lining the walls almost halfway up - which btw was the weirdest hotel decor I've seen, even though in small hotels in London I've seen my fair share of oddness...) And I have no idea who... More

It was decent place and staff were very good and helpful. I only had one issue! There was NO kettle and NO tea/coffee packets and/or nibbles. I have stayed at various budget places in London and every hotel had a freaking kettle in the room, not this one! If you are OK with going to the kitchen to have hot... More

Hotel situated in central london. Very friendly and helpful staff. Earls court station just down the road and 24 hour tesco round the corner. Lift and good breakfast. Also even though shared bathroom they were meticulously clean and shower gel and towels were provided. Very cheap for one night's stay. Will definitely go there again.
