We originaly booked other hotel, but were moved here due to overbooking. I didn't like the hotel much however the pub downstairs is really nice. Bartender is a nice guy and have good selection of beers. :)

This is a no fuss, basic pub/hotel strategically positioned for the O2arena or a visit to Greenwich village and museums. The bus stop is right outside and being on the south side of the O2, returning from the concert was so easy avoiding all the queues for the tube. Clean and newly redecorated, good TV and friendly staff. The pub... More

I stayed here for two nights for the Muse gigs at the O2. It was perfect for my needs. The staff are very friendly, the room is clean with a comfy bed and good quality bedding. It has been freshly decorated and was warm and very handy for the O2, just a short bus ride away. The TV was great... More

This was so much better than I expected seems it has been recently refurbished. Altho the communal hallways are not the most modern the rooms are great! Good size for a stay and a nice ensuite bathroom. Large flat screen TV's and very comfy bed. Right next to a motorway so wouldnt recommed if you are not used to public... More

A great hotel. This was so much better than I expected (from the picture) being a typical Victorian Street Front Hotel. It had clearly been refurbished and a lot of money - I mean a lot - had been thrown at it. It has been beautifully appointed with a blue grey and off white livery throughout the hotel inside and... We booked this for our visit to the o2 which was just a stones throw away and could see it from our window. We got our room key and made the mistake of going to the wrong door which the key also opened but it was a single when we booked double which was lucky as we'd have made ourselves... More

Well ... this hotel isn't nice, nor it's in a good location but it is very cheap. The room itself is absouletely ok, although it would have been good to have a few hangers in there for my clothes, ah well, not much of a problem either. The bathroom and the toilet is somewhat ugly and they really should do... More

Stayed during Olympics so price as you would expect. Close to westcombe park train station and bus stops round the corner. 10 minutes to Greenwich. I would just add that hotel is next to a flyover but we were on the top floor on the other side of the building so had no problem with noise. Stunning view of the... More

Hotel clean, we and a room for three, shower and wash basin in room, had shared toilet with other guests. continental breakfast advertised but not available apparently due to building works. Where the building works were I' ve no idea. This hotel ok if you want to sleep and go.

Staying in Greenwich

Neighborhood Profile
Greenwich
Greenwich Mean Time starts here, so to speak, as the very concept of global time was established at Royal Observatory, just one of several buildings of architectural interest in Greenwich. Indeed, the whole of Greenwich's historic town center, its Royal Park and a number of related buildings (and one world famous ship, the Cutty Sark) make up the UNESCO World Heritage site known as Maritime Greenwich. Today a laser beam is shot out across the night sky from the Observatory to mark the location of the Prime Meridian. Other bold (some say brash) 21st century additions to the area include landmarks such as The O2 entertainment complex (previously known as the Millennium Dome) and the Air Line cable cars, which offer scenic transport across the Thames between North Greenwich and the Royal Docks.
