Booked a room for 3 at the Angerstein from the 29th of may till the 1st of June 2014. We rang the hotel on the way as we were going to be late checking in, the lady who took the call was so laid back and friendly and we felt welcome before we even arrived. We arrived to a fantastic... More

We stayed here Saturday 12th April and it was great. We got a last minute cancellation after trying to find somewhere after discovering our first hotel had terrible reviews! So was very relieved to find somewhere with good reviews and the hotel did not let us down. Great location for the O2, however we were there for a wedding. The... More

We chose this hotel as we travelled for a concert purpose and this hotel is located very close to the O2 Arena. We had a nice room and although the bathrooms where sharing we had one on our floor so it didn't bother us at all. The receptions where very nice to us.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room and shower and restroom were clean. Close to train station. Priced right for a solo travler, who is looking for a place to sleep and shower. Enjoyed the Pub and it's staff. Some road noise but not unbearable, slept well in comfortable bed.

Stayed here as close to O2 arena, was a bit worried as reviews were quite mixed. We struggled to find it as it was about 10.30 at night and raining, also road signs were not great but in daylight it is quite straight forward. The area doesn't look great but once in our room we were more than happy. Lovely large... More

We were 3 Guys staying in a 3 bed room for a Weekend. It was just what we were looking for: a nice place near the O2, which is not to expensive. Our room was comfy, clean and large enough for the 3 of us. A bit noisy because the hotel is located next to a crossroad, but we slept... More

Staff were very friendly and helpful. The family room we booked was clean and quite spacious considering there were 4 adults. We did have to share toilet and shower but these were very clean, so caused no issues. It's a five minute taxi ride from 02 and a train station 1 minute walk away.

Booked a twin room at the Angerstein Hotel because it is close to the 02 arena. The twin room I booked was very clean and adequate, with tea and coffee making facilities and a television. If you're not used to noise at night its not good, constant traffic and sirens, not good for a country bumpkin, though I expect you... More

We stayed for one night for the Fleetwood Mac gig at the 02. The owners are friendly and good for advice on travelling around the area. The room was a nice size and clean with a small but adequate bathroom. Overall this is very good value for money and great if you are visiting the 02.The walk from the North... More

I stayed here on a night that was raining cats and dogs so didn't explore local area but it was close to station which suited me. It's a proper old school.pub, mostly men drinking there. I mention this as the wifi dudn't eork in my room so i had to go down to the pub to work which, as a... More

Staying in Greenwich

Neighborhood Profile
Greenwich
Greenwich Mean Time starts here, so to speak, as the very concept of global time was established at Royal Observatory, just one of several buildings of architectural interest in Greenwich. Indeed, the whole of Greenwich's historic town center, its Royal Park and a number of related buildings (and one world famous ship, the Cutty Sark) make up the UNESCO World Heritage site known as Maritime Greenwich. Today a laser beam is shot out across the night sky from the Observatory to mark the location of the Prime Meridian. Other bold (some say brash) 21st century additions to the area include landmarks such as The O2 entertainment complex (previously known as the Millennium Dome) and the Air Line cable cars, which offer scenic transport across the Thames between North Greenwich and the Royal Docks.
