Me and my son have stayed at the Angerstein for the last 4 year's and we wouldn't change a thing, rooms are lovely and clean and the staff fantastic. We always have a pleasant stay when we attend the 02 for the tennis. Thank you all at the Angerstein Hotel.

On arrival told room would be on the 2nd floor, didn't anticipate how many stairs we had to climb. The rooms are above a pub which we were aware. There was no noise from the pub below. The room was average size Only 1 Mirror in the bathroom which was awkward when drying my hair. 2 beds in the room... More

My partner and I were looking for a reasonably priced, comfortable hotel within walking distance of the O2. The Angerstein Hotel certainly fitted the bill. In nearly all of the important aspects this hotel scored high: the staff were friendly, the ensuite bedroom was comfortable and clean (very cozy bed) and the pub itself is a proper locals bar without... Travelled up to go to concert at O2. Great location, near to station and only 20-25 minute walk to arena. Landlady was extremely friendly and helpful when we arrived. Room was clean, bathroom was a bit small and shower could do with an extra bit of power to make it nicer. Landlord was great when we got back later and... More

We stayed here for an event at the O2. £8 in a cab. So close enough. The rooms are above the pub but it wasn't noisy. Clean rooms & great staff. Friendly locals & close to grocery shop. Can't ask for much more. Will definitely recommend & stay again.

My friend and I recently stayed here for a weekend and found friendly staff, clean, comfortable rooms, and just a stone's throw from the station. We would stay there again. Ideal for anyone wanting to visit London for a weekend.

Recently stayed here when attending a wedding nearby. The hotel is nothing fancy, you get what you pay for. The rooms are clean, comfortable and have a decent tv. There is a lot of noise from the road outside but that can't be helped, me and my partner are heavy sleepers so this didn't bother us much. What would make... More

I stayed here as I had to take an exam nearby on the following day. I booked a single room, but ended up with a twin so that was good as I had a little bit more room. The room was in the top of the hotel, which is quite a hike up the stairs if you are not used... More

Stayed one night before an event at O2. Excellent and, given location and London prices, good value at £50 single. Good sized room with character and well maintained. Spacious ground floor bar acts as reception for rooms above. Terrific friendly service. Super free Wi-Fi. Much more character than a chain hotel. Faultless!

He was very friendly and helped us out with any info we needed. The pub seemed nice to drink in and friendly however we never got Time The rooms with... More

Staying in Greenwich

Neighborhood Profile
Greenwich
Greenwich Mean Time starts here, so to speak, as the very concept of global time was established at Royal Observatory, just one of several buildings of architectural interest in Greenwich. Indeed, the whole of Greenwich's historic town center, its Royal Park and a number of related buildings (and one world famous ship, the Cutty Sark) make up the UNESCO World Heritage site known as Maritime Greenwich. Today a laser beam is shot out across the night sky from the Observatory to mark the location of the Prime Meridian. Other bold (some say brash) 21st century additions to the area include landmarks such as The O2 entertainment complex (previously known as the Millennium Dome) and the Air Line cable cars, which offer scenic transport across the Thames between North Greenwich and the Royal Docks.
