Interior needs refurbishing especially since the rates are expensive. Plumbing sucks (no power shower) and flat is noisy due to traffic. Security could be better. There's no staff on weekends. However, the location is excellent. My family and I have stayed at both 62 and 65 Harley St over the past decade. The location is very convenient to businesses, shops,... More

We booked apartment 7 at 62 Harley street for a long weekend in October/November for a "girls" trip to London. We were 3 generations together. The flat is very close everything, 5-10 minutes walk from Oxford Street, just a few minutes walk from a Tesco Metro and in a nice area. We had a 3 bedroom apartment with 2 single... More

We rented this apartment for 10 days at 65 Harley street, flat num 8 - 4th floor. We had the worst experience of our lives staying here. The day we checked in .. Laura the receptionist specifically told us please keep all your valuables only in the safe locker. As we were about to do it.. We realised the locker... More

While we fully understand that emotions were running high, the reviewer failed to mention all of the *positive steps taken by the individuals named and that some of what they have said is simply untrue and slanderous, however not wishing to start a war of words we will wish the reviewer the best wishes and hope they never suffer such... Our family stayed here last year for 3 weeks during the Olympics and it would have to be one of the best locations and apartments to stay in. We stayed in 62 Harley St, apart#4. Although it was a split level one, the lift actually was a great help to get to the upper floor. The rooms sizes are huge...the... More

Great location, 5 minutes walk from Oxford Street. Travelled with a group of friends, stayed in 2 apartements at 65 Harley Street. Bathrooms dated, but well functioning. Receptionists very friendsly and helpful, gave us a warm welcome.

The only downside to this set of apartments is the noise, especially if staying on the ground floor. Remember to ask for a upper floor apartment to avoid hearing the tube trains running underneath and pedestrian noise. Otherwise excellent - large, smart, clean apartments, excellent value for money, very close to attractions such as Oxford St, Marylebone, Regents Park etc.... More

Our family of six just returned from a week in London for the Olympics and we stayed at 62 Harley St. Apt. #6. We were very pleased. The apt was very spacious. Our apt had three rooms (one king and the other two rooms had 2 twins each.) and three bathrooms. Our kids are 19, 17, 15, and 13 so... More

We had a two bedroom flat at 65 Harley Street and our relatives had a 3 bedroom flat at 62 Harley Street. Both were fantastic although the latter had a slight edge because it was on a high floor with a good lift and more room. Both had great kitchens and bathrooms. Also within walking distance from Waitrose Supermarket at... More

These are very decent apartments in a terrific central London location, just a few blocks north of Oxford Street. The neighborhood is safe, convenient and about a 10 minute walk from a choice of tube stops. Numerous stores and restaurants are close by. The units themselves are spacious, nicely decorated and equipped with full kitchens and modern baths. However, the... More

Staying in Marylebone

Neighborhood Profile
Marylebone
Marylebone offers what so many London neighborhoods cannot: a village feel coupled with urban convenience. Much of its success rests in its location. Wedged between the northeastern corner of Hyde Park and the southern end of Regent's Park and with a number of Tube stations within easy reach, Marylebone is as pedestrian friendly as Central London gets. The bustling shopping mecca of Oxford Street separates it from Soho and Mayfair, exclusive Regent Street marks its border with Fitzrovia, and cosmopolitan Edgware Road serves as its western edge. Within this enviably situated quarter are an array of outstanding restaurants (from Michelin darlings to down and dirty cheeseburgers), an impressive assortment of independently owned shops, and some of the city's quietest and most pleasant nooks, crannies and cobbled lanes.
