We stayed a week in the Saint George Hotel and it was very good value for money. Great central location near Oxford Circus tube. Being near the intersection of Regent St and Oxford St meant shopping close by and also hop on hop off bus stop near the hotel. Across the road from the Langham Hotel so we were able... More

Situated right next to Broadcasting House, and with the lower 8 floors of the hotel occupied by the BBC this is an excellent location if you are starring in Desert island Discs - it is one minute's walk to the studio! We were in fact attending Lord's for the cricket and found the walk through Regent's Park great, or the... More

The other reviews which have some criticisms have an element of truth but really for London and in this location the price is right. 1 minute to Regent St and Oxford St. £10 in a taxi from Euston. Reception was friendly, quick and easy. The room was bigish and well equipped except for the 1960's windows which we left open... More

On July 7th 2014 Eurostar cancelled trains back to Brussels. A hotel was needed and quickly. Yes it's a bit tired but the beds are comfy, the rooms are clean and you get a nice view from the 14th floor and you're close to Oxford and Regents Street. I personally can't fault the place and it was a good nights... More

We stayed at this hotel as part of a social trip at work. The best thing with this hotel is by far the location. Pretty much close to everything? We had a superior room which was nice and comfortable. Otherwise the hotel really feels dated and there was some construction ongoing. We did not have breakfast or other dining at... More

Good location for those wanting to spend time on Oxford Street. The hotel itself is old and rundown and needs a complete overhaul and a maintenance crew. The professional photos are misleading, none of them represented the room i got. Do not overpay for this hotel, good central location, we had a nice view and the beds were ok.

If you like the 60-ies, this is the place to go! The decoration, the state of repair, maintenance etc, all go back to this era. If you don't like the 60-ies, stay away from this place! A positive is the location, but this doesn't make up for the antiquated state it's in.

We are sorry Willem H did not enjoy his stay on account of the decor. He referred to the sixties however all the bedrooms have been refurbished and some floors twice in the last eight years (though not all corridors). It is a fact that hotels have to keep refurbishing on an ongoing basis because of the wear and tear.... More

having read some of the reviews thought it best to put a balanced view. This hotel is basic and maybe not the most up to date. I have never had a problem with it being dirty as some have said. I stay here every year for the past 15yrs for and event held by my husband's company, it is convenient... More

Ive stayed here twice already as this is the cheapest so far nearest the oxford st and regent st. that i know of. Rooms are modest, but i can sense that it is not kept well. Curtains have stains, some parts of the wall have slashes. I uploaded some photos. This hotel is really due for a refurb. The view... More
