If TripAdvisor had offered "good" as a choice, I would have gone for it. Had to tick the box "average", since "very good" is not applicable. We enjoyed our 5-day stay. Everything worked out fine. The staff were very efficient, though they lacked what I'd term "British cheerfulness". The room was nice and of a good size for London. Bathroom... More

First time at Saint Georges and would most definitely come back again. Considering the location the cost was brilliant value. £190 for 2 including breakfast which was lovely! The room was clean with a large and very comfortable bed. Credit to all of the staff who were courteous, personable, professional and very helpful. Loved the stay and will be recommending... More

I wasn't sure what to expect for my first trip to London. The website said they had renovated their rooms. Ours was one of the renovated but it still was not great. The floor appeared dirty and had a yucky smell in it. The bed was comfy and the location is awesome. The English breakfast was decent and I'm glad... More

Hi. I just wanted to share my experience at the Saint george hotel regent St. London. I checked in end of May with a friend of mine and everything was fine. We stayed for 5 days and were using the safe box to put our extra money, passports and everything. We came to the room one day to find the... More

We have been communicating with this person and this is a serious allegation something we are not accustomed to. We carried out investigations with staff concerned all of whom were authorised to have access to the room, maids, room service etc. employees who have been with us for more than 2 years. CCTV footage was used and also the Locks... More

After spending a night in this hotel recently, I really do think a lot of the really bad reviews are a bit harsh. Taking into account the location and price ( we paid £118 ) I feel it was good value for money. It may be a million miles off 5 star luxury but it is more than functional and... More

Thanks to ashkoppite for a constructive review following their recent stay. Yes, there is a lot going for the hotel and most guests are pleased with the facilities and services. As you quite rightly said the price is fair. Wait for the soon to be converted property! Thanks again. GRM More

This is a great hotel, centrally located, great size room, good bed (if you like it on the firm side) and wonderful views across the city. Having read other reviews of the hotel I didn't know what to expect but booked it for the price and location, especially as it was for one night. I was pleasantly surprised to discover... More

Saint George's Hotel was very average, with disinterested staff manning the front desk. But situated on Regent street - it's remarkably well priced for its fantastic location. The hotel room was clean enough, but in need of an update as it was a bit tired.

Thanks to kylie_Oz for her feedback. Concerned by her comments as we normally receive really nice ones from our customers, but it is noted. GRM More

The restaurant is nothing short of terrible. My friend and I went there for drinks and decided to order some plates of food. The food was worse than anything left in a fridge and then microwaved days later. The haloumi kebab was uncooked with raw onion on it and tough peppers. We complained several times and the attitude of the... More

Thanks to Melanie B for her feedback. Food is a interesting subject as it is very personal because of individual tastes, likes and dislikes. having looked into this specific matter I can confirm, for the benefit of anyone reading this, that the dish in question is a Kebab - no Halloumi in sight - Melanie B is mistaken as the... Have stayed here a few times in the past and it was very nice, seemingly those days have changed. It has become very run down and the duvets are now flat and thin as pancakes. Previously I always got a room with twin beds and they were fine but this was my first double bed at this hotel. First one... More

The service is not good - would never recomend this hotel. We came in late and had booked for three person me and my children. They only have a two person room and the lady there Johana did take into consideration that we had been traveling for a long time. We had printed out the hotel ticket from booking.com which... More

We ackowledge the review from Vestmannaeyjay following their trip to London. A most peculiar one this....we have very little detail with which to investigate, name, dates etc. Why did they not contact the Management immediately either by phone/email etc so we could look into this. All we can say is that somewhere in the reservation process the details input by... More
