Have been staying at this hotel for many years and additionally using the top floor bar and restaurant as a rendevous for business meetings. Service always good and prompt. It's in a great location just a few minutes from Oxford Circus and opposite New Broadcasting House.

It's right next door to the BBC! From St George's Hotel: 20 minute walk - Hyde Park 15 minute walk - James Street (lots of restaurants) 10 minute walk - Leicester Square (the heart of West End) 5 minute walk - Oxford St (shopping) 5 minute walk - Carnaby St You really can't go wrong with the location and getting... Service with a smile, NOT. Upon arrival the reception staff were very poor in greeting you, being completely ignored by one of the receptionist! The room itself was fine with all the amenities you could wish for. However, while the bathroom itself was clean, the grouting around the tiles was going black from mildew!! Plus, there was a gaping big... More

This hotel is not even a 1 star hotel. It is an awful hotel. It' s very old and very dirty. The bathroom is dirty and I didn't have hot water in the shower. The service is not a service. At the reception they don't say hello and they don't say goodbye. You feel like in a jail corridor. It... More

I like to sandwich my criticism with good, improvements needed and finishing off with more good. Finding the good will be tricky. Firstly, the rooms provide you with a lot of amenities - shower cap, slippers, robe, iron and ironing board (though the ironing board looks pretty manky), soaps and shampoos, coffee, teas, even mineral water. All these amenities are... More

Difficult to find anywhere in London for £200 - this place has perfectly adequate rooms, WiFi not the fastest but ok and free. Views are good and location is fabulous. They do only have 4 parking spaces so if you are bringing a car come early!

A comfortable hotel with lounge/dining facilities on the 15th floor. Breakfast was good. Checking in and out was good and overall staff are pleasant and attentive. Overated as a 4 star. Location is ok, but access to front is tight, and room rates (Sat nite GBP200) is clearly overpriced.

I didn't actually stay in this perfectly situated hotel close by Oxford Circus but had a business lunch in the Heights Bar and couldn't resist sharing the experience. The views are amazing, I never knew this bar was here and it must be one of London's' little hidden secrets. To my mind, looking away from the City towards Hyde Park,... More

We have just had a weekend staying at the Saint Georges Hotel - Langham Place, London - the hotel itself is excellent - the view we had from our room on the 14th floor was amazing. Everything in the bedroom was spotless as was the bathroom. The only downside was the fact that the lounge and bar area were always... More

Chris S, Guest Relations Manager at Saint Georges Hotel, responded to this review

Thank you to Patricia S for her super review about her recent stay. Regarding the bar and lounge I am not sure what time they came - the trend is that the bar is busy early to mid evening with non- residents, business people and those working closeby who later have to head home. Most residents are out sightseeing and... More
