Just back from an awesome stay at the St Ermins hotel. The staff was outstanding and very helpful! We stayed with our 4 children and they made every effort to accomodate us with our rooms. Full English Breakfast in the morning was excellent! The staff even remember that our youngest son had milk allergies and made special eggs. Mr McHugh... More

Stayed here for my brother in-law's wedding at the beginning of August. Beautiful old style hotel not taken over by these huge chains that all look the same. Room a little cramped for 2 adults and 2 teenagers and air con not working in our room but they had provided us 2 large fans. On checking out we happened to... More

Somehow I landed a suite at the St Ermins hotel and what a great spot it was, arriving in London in the middle of an extended multi-city business trip a stay at St Ermins was surprisingly relaxing. For foreign visitors being greeted by the concierge staff in terribly British outfits (and strong London accents) is just the start. The suite... More

London has so much to offer. We usually stay at the Savoy or the Ritz because we know we can't go wrong. Well looking at the Marriott site, we found one of their autograph collection hotels so we decided to tried. What a great experience. The hotel was absolutely charming, beautiful decor, extremely nice staff, that went out of their... More

Great hotel, very close to the St. James Park tube station. Also loved that it was very close to tourist attractions such as Westminster, Parliament and Buckingham Palace but was not packed with tourists. Staff was friendly, rooms were very comfortable.

My wife and I had an upgraded room which was adequately sized and very clean. My brother in law is disabled, was unable to navigate the standard shower in the bathroom. Though he and his wife had not requested a handicapped room, hotel upgraded he and his wife to a wonderful suite with good access at no charge. In the... More

Beautiful hotel. Great chef. The rooms are a decent size -for London. Beautiful bathroom; great service. Award winning chef prepares fab meals. The dining room service staff are excellent. Free WiFi. The Hotel is a block and a half from St. James Underground station. Walking distance to Buckingham Palace and Westminster Abbey. A fine hotel - a bit pricey, but... More

We have been to this hotel 3 times now and would certainly go again. The location is perfect for getting to Green Park, London eye, Houses of parliament and Piccadilly Circus. The rooms are all of a great standard. (We have stayed in the superior, deluxe and executive rooms) Its central London so quite pricey as all London hotels are,... More

We enjoyed our stay at the St. Ermin's Hotel recently. From the check in to the check out, the staff and service was quite good. The only downside, we would have liked a better view but that is a minor issue. The breakfast is excellent and the bar staff made our late night stop worth it. We would return to... More

We took our teen granddaughters on a trip to Europe in June. We spent four nights at the St Ermin's Hotel--eating breakfast at their wonderful buffet each morning. This was our first vacation in London, and everyone at the hotel was extremely helpful. The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance to many sights and dinner venues. The histories of... Staying in Westminster

Neighborhood Profile
Westminster
If you only had an afternoon to experience London on a grand scale, Westminster would be a wise place to start. The ornate Houses of Parliament and Westminster Abbey sit adjacent at a corner of Parliament Square, and a short stroll along The Mall leads to Buckingham Palace. Trafalgar Square and Nelson's Column are just up the road as well. As captivating as the architecture is, the wonders of Mother Nature are highlights of the area too. St James's Park (arguably London's loveliest), the expansive Green Park, and pedestrian friendly tree lined paths along the river showcase the exquisite manicure provided by English gardeners. Just beyond the landmarks and the gorgeous outdoor spaces, quiet residential squares and age old local pubs offer a more subdued take on this global seat of power in the heart of London.
