The hotel was clean and all the staff efficient and friendly. The room was a decent size and the en-suite small but functional with shower, loo and wash basin. We parked the car in the yard for £10.Safe and secure but it is probably best to inform the hotel by email in advance as space is limited. There is a simple self service... More

Myself and 2 other friends needed accommodation for 2 nights so we could cycle for the WaterAid charity in the London-Surrey100 cycle ride on 10 August 2014. Our criteria for booking a hotel was a triple bedroom with ensuite and secure parking close to the Olympic Park in Stratford. This is not that easy to find when there are 24,000... More

It's reasonably priced, has secure parking, the rooms are clean and comfortable and it's convenient - all of the things we were looking for to spend a couple of nights in London! It is a bit noisy but you are above a pub that has live music until 2am and in a busy area so noise should be expected but... More

As an IT contractor who previously lived in the Midlands, I spent 20+ years staying in hotels in London from Sunday to Thursday night. You name it, I've seen it, and done it. Cheap hotels? Expensive hotels. Last minute hotels? The 'established superior hotel'...? Without hesitation, I would recommend this place (with a few caveats - later). Whenever you stay... More

We spent there four nights. We came there on Wednesday afternoon and noboby answered the ring on the hotel door. Then we decided to ask in a bar under the hotel. We told a waitress there that we came to the hotel. She went to find somebody responsible for accomodation. After a while a woman came who was probably under... More

We were a group of 15 on a previous night before a wedding. Nice and quite ambiance, not very noisy and, most important, cheap! We took many pictures of the corner and memorabilia of Iron Maiden. Just this fact deserves a visit!

This was my second stay at Cart & Horses and I must say that it is really impressive to see such a cheap hotel, compared to others, which will guarantee a pleasant stay in London! Cart & Horses doesn't promise too much and it won't be the most luxurious hotel you've ever stayed in but for the amount of money... More

If like me, you are an Iron Maiden fan looking for a place to start a pilgrimage around the East End, this is your place to stay. If you need to go to the Queen Elizabeth stadium, or the O2 this is also your place as it's not far from any of the main spots on the east. The place... More

I have stayed here a couple of times in the last month. £69 for a warm en-suite double room, and that includes breakfast in the form of some cereals, which is fine for me. As other reviewers have said, the best thing about staying here is the friendly reception you receive from the landlord. On my first visit he was... More
