Excellent accommodation at very reasonable prices. Very close to Tower Hill and Aldgate underground stations, Tower Gateway (DLR to Greenwich etc) and Fenchurch St station. Tower of London very close.

Please be advised that this review is specific to apartment number 107. I will talk about all the good things about Marilyn Lodge and then relate the problem with the only apartment that I can speak of. Positives: good location, close to two separate Underground stations that serve multiple lines. Close to the DLR for travel outside the city. Good... More

We spent a beautiful day in London and we used the flat in Marlyn Lodge. The position is very good, near the underground and in 1 zone, very safe in everytime, about the flat I have same perplexity because is very small (we were a family 2 adults and 2 childs) with moquette and the bathroom is very old, the... Danilo Thanks for your review of our apartment. I am a little disappointed that you would rate us 3 out of 5 on size as our apartments for London are a good size plus the size of the apartment is listed when you book so unsure why you would be disappointed. A studio that can have a king bed /... More

Our family had a nice stay at Marlyn Lodge. The location was excellent, with easy access to the circle and district lines of the underground, 2 grocery stores, and tower bridge area attractions. The one bedroom flat was exactly as presented online. It was quite spacious and the kitchen well stocked with all a family of 4 would require. The... More

Barbara, Many thanks for your review, we do have many people who are concerned booking a non traditional type of accommodation and we find that almost everyone loves the process and the space of your own apartment rather than feeling confined to a hotel room. Again, hope to see you back soon and Happy New Year Andrew More

Visited with family (2adults 2children).Arrived late but it was wonderfully easy to gain access. Basic but complete self catering facilities and just 3 minutes walk to the Underground or Docklands Light Rail. Would stay again and recommend to all. Good value for money

After touring the UK for six weeks we headed to London's Marlyn Lodge and stayed 15 nights (Dec. 2014). Having opted for a studio apartment, this was the one booking I was anxious about. Would it be too small? Too confining? Should I have chosen the 1-bedroom for our stay. I had no need to worry. The studio flat on... More

dkb60 Thanks so much for taking the time to write your in-depth review of our apartments! So glad you enjoyed the area and the accommodation as are very lucky with our location and family orientated and friendly building. Next week we will be doing a thorough check on all our apartments for cleanliness of kitchenware and also making sure there... More

The pictures look a lot better than the actual place but everything was in order and clean. We noticed that the DVD player was not working and it was replaced the next working day. Very nice and helpful management staff. We had clean towels every day and overall, the apartment was well looked after. Heating and Internet worked well. Very... More

I stayed in a studio apartment on the first floor. I was a bit worried about traffic noise, because I'm a light sleeper, but it was very quiet inside the apartment. The apartments are well appointed and comfortable. The good sized kitchen has everything you would need to cook your own food with the added bonus of a washer/dryer. The... More

VIcki, Happy New Year.. Thanks for your review, we do have people who are concerned with any type of noise but in London its almost impossible to be completely shut away, especially in a great central location. We do feel we are in an area of London that people can enjoy at their own pace rather than be right inside... More

We have a proper one bedroom apartment a short walk to the Tower of London and its Bridge. Also close to all forms of public transport including boats. The apartment 407 is not too expensive and nice enough however there is absolutely no way to dry clothes, making the washing machine pointless and the situation a pain.

Ozuzi, Many thanks for your review. We don't fully understand why you would give us only 3 out of 5 stars for your apartment if you only just had an issue with drying your clothes. We do provide hanging racks and within the one bedroom apartments there are 4 radiators to help with this. We have many guests that are... More

Perfect location, received what promised. Nice area, well equipped flat, price affordable. Tube and bus very close and easy to catch with easy connection to other London attractions. Recommended. Will be back there sooner or later.
