Location, location, location! Cannot be beaten. 10 minutes by foot to St Pancras. Warm reception from friendly staff. Tiny single room on 3rd floor was clean and heated with biscuits and tea making facilities. Remote control device needs a slight clean. Breakfast was copious with good coffee and plenty of choice. Shower pressure poor. Wifi access in reception is fine.... More

This hotel is brilliant value for money! We stayed here for 1 night in December as a stopover before Heathrow and it was perfectly suited to this purpose. The location is great, a 15-20min walk from London Kings Cross (with suitcases). The room (although not really decorated) is very clean and has everything you could need, including tea/coffee making facilities... More

The service was excellent! We met four different receptionists and they were all very friendly and funny. The size of the room was good, and it was clean, warm, and not at all noisy. The hotel is very central and it is easy to get around in London. The breakfast was simple, but very good: fresh toasts, croissants, and different... More

Double room at ground floor was small and tight. Difficult to move for two persons with luggage. Breakfast acceptable and the bathroom was renewed. For this room 100 Pounds daily I find quite expensive, although generally London is expensive. The Advantage of this Hotel is to be at Walking distance from the Euston Railway Station and to offer free wifi.

Not too far from Kings Cross Railway Station - about a half mile. However, dragging a suitcase on wheels is a bit of a bind so we caught a cab when we were leaving and that was 10 quid. A tiny lift and a tiny room. Couldn't put the suit case sideways next to the bed, had to do it... More

A 1 night stay in this hotel is more than enough, grubby dirty smelly. Travelled with a group of 10 and booked 5 twin rooms. My room was on the bottom floor looking onto the garden ( if you can call it that ) next room decided to have a party and the noise was terrible, the party spilled out... More

Just home from short theatre break in London. Only good thing is the Swinton Hotel is a 10 minute walk from Kings X station. Not too far for walking into theatre land. Looks OK from the outside. Enter an unimpressive, run down looking, basic reception area. Staff barely communicated, but no real need to engage with them. Room on first... More

The staff were friendly although one chap had quite poor English and I hope the hotel offer some training (it is quite stressful to have to engage with customers in a foreign language, ie English in this case). Great location just 10 mins from St Pancras. But the place is quite shabby, no air-conditioning it seemed to me, very noisy... More

I recently visited this hotel for a couple of days break in London and although we found it to be quite basic it was in an ideal location for our requirements the rooms are quite small but the room was warm comfortable and clean and the staff were polite and helpful for what it costs and the location you won't... This is probably the worst Hotel we have ever stayed in. As soon as we arrived, please fill this in, and how are you paying.... If we'd seen the room we would have left immediately! Small, FILTHY, and the decor is something else. No wardrobe, clothes were hung above a kettle, charged me £89, but on the night was advertised... More
