overall we add a nice stay , the room and the service was nice. some details could have been better. Bed sheets were not dirty but not perfect, and same things for the cleaning. they say it is with a Nespresso, machine in the room, and yes we had one. but you just have to buy the pods if you... Highly recommend!! the staff could not be more friendly and helpful. I requested a ground or lower room for my elderly parents with my booking, this was accommodated via a lovely ground floor de lux with terrace. The hotel is in a nice part of London and handy for attractions and the purpose of our visit the Royal Albert Hall

We went to Albert hall for a concert and we're looking for somewhere local to stay. Booked this last minute and was really impressed. Great location, good room with a balcony that had a table and chairs. Proper coffee in the room and a midday checkout which was good. Definitely stay here again if going to the Albert Hall

My wife and I stayed for an extended holiday weekend. We stayed in a deluxe room with our own little patio outside, unfortunately we could couldn't take full advantage of it due to rather cold weather. Great location, close to subway and smack bang beside several museums (Natural History Museum, Victoria & Albert, Science museum). Staff was very friendly, room... More

The hotel is very nice for a 3-4 days city break. The location is excellent close to the tube stations, restaurants and shopping. The hotel faces the Natural History museum. The staff is quite nice and the rooms are clean and corfortable.

I have stayed a few times at the 54 Boutique Hotel. The location just next door to Imperial College and the Natural History Museum, is absolutely fantastic. It's close to both Gloucester Road and South Kensington tube stations and very well connected also on the bus lines. The hotel itself is comfortable, clean and nicely decorated - has the feel... Very friendly and helpful. Only problem was extract in bathroom didn't work so ceiling had a lot of mould on it. Breakfast was continental with no option of full English but there was plenty of everything available.

I stayed here as a solo female traveller, for business midweek. The hotel is in a fantastic location, right next to the Natural History Museum and very close to Gloucester Road tube. I had a single room on the lower ground floor which was not a bad size considering, and was very quite due to its location. Staff were very... More

This small, friendly hotel made a perfect place to stay. The staff were very friendly, the hotel is spotlessly clean and although breakfast is only a continental buffet the choice was very good. Being located next to the Natural history museum and close to both South Kensington and Gloucester road tube stations it has an ideal location for visiting the... More

Staying in South Kensington

Neighborhood Profile
South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.
