Seemed likely to be a typical close-to-railway-station dump, but was definitely better than that. En-suite needed upgrading...but hey, getting a twin room that close to Victoria for £50 isn't to be sneezed at - and a little continental breakfast included!

Nice little hotel in a great location. Quite small rooms but it's ok for somewhere to rest your head at night. Staff are polite and cleaners do a thorough job. Stayed here twice, first time with a communal bathroom which I don't recommend, second time with an en suite which was much better. Wifi is good and also free.

I stayed in room 62 holly house with my 8 yr old grandson. The room was Very cramped, basic and noisy with trains passing most of the night. Room backed onto.it was very hot and stuffy. The fan provided was old and just worked. Nowhere to hang clothes. I would not stay there again !

Our room actually slept 9, but a bit dark, a bit dirty and the shower room smelt of damp. Was Ok for a quick overnighter, but don't be wanting to savour breakfast. They stand over you at 9 nicking your plates as you finish each bite!

As I reflect on my stay at the Holly House Hotel, first, I would like to address that this place is neither a house nor a hotel. It is a depreciated piece of real estate with zero air condition and closet transformed into bathrooms. I spent several hours in our hotel spitting water onto myself so the fan would stop... More

I'd like to say you get what you pay for but when you can get a 4 sleeper room in the likes of Premier Inn for £130, that excuse no longer cuts it. Having stayed in the Holly House Hotel Annexe in early Jan 2014, I expected far more than what we got. Ok, the last stay was cheap and... More

I have just spent 3 nights in the worst Hotel I have ever stayed in the Hotel is not very clean the rooms are dull and shabby and although the sheets on the beds were clean the duvet covers were grubby and the mattresses stained. The bathroom if you could call it that was so small that while showering the toilet... Found a syringe in the corridor. Reported it in the hotel reception, and the receptionist clearly didn't view this as anything unusual. I guess that really says all about the place. Good things: good location, friendly server at the breakfast Bad things: The rooms were tiny and the bathroom even more so, with the whole bathroom overflowing when showering Noisy... More

Please don't go there! It's a well meant advice. I stayed in this hotel for only 2 nights. At the end of my trip, I was very happy that I don't have to sleep there one more night. A whole in the wall, no packaged soap (just the soap on the bed), disgusting rack for the toast, disgusting and damaged... More

Internet, TV, tea & coffee, even a fridge! The breakfast wasn't up to much but not everybody is into a full English anyway, me included so it suited. the room was small but I had a sink, toilet, and shower. It was really handy being less than 50 yards from Victoria Coach Station and the Metro was also close at... More

Staying in Pimlico

Neighborhood Profile
Pimlico
Time spent in Pimlico is a slower-paced affair than most other Central London neighborhoods. This largely residential area orderly arranged beside the Thames, is a treasure trove of quaint pubs, subtle architectural charms and local boutiques. Here, art lovers thrill at the chance to visit the world class Tate Britain gallery for its collection of British art from the 1500s to the present. For peace and quiet and some downtime spent along the Thames, Pimlico is highly recommended.
