the breakfast is very poor. location is very good. close to all kinds of public transportation. supermarket is a 5 min walk away. buckingham palace is a 15 min walk away too. my bed was comfortable. if you look for a basic cheap rest-between-city walks place - holly house hotel is your choice.

Very helpful and friendly staff. Good value for money. Rooms very spacious but small bathrooms. Plenty of breakfast if you want extra just ask! We have stayed before and we will stay again. Staff great with our two young children and also helping us carry our large suitcases up the stairs. We also left our luggage the next day to... More

I missed my bus which was the last one of the day around midnight and needed somewhere to stay over night. Holly House was close to the station and gave me a good price for a room with on suit. The room was clean, the bedding fresh and the bathroom clean. It's not the best but for the price in... More

On arrival the reception staff Vidal advised us that he would be placing us in a room down the street at the sister hotel Alexander House...he was a little grumpy initially but not rude. The hotel is basic, you get what you paid for....cheap and basic accommodations. The bathroom was super tiny and I could literally use the toilet and... More

Me & my boyfriend stayed in this hotel for one night for a weekend trip down to London, the experience was half decent at best. The staff were blunt & rude, nowhere near the level of customer service expected, you would think they'd know better. Hotel was very cramped, badly decorated, tiny corridors leading to tiny rooms. Our ceiling was... More

Was a great price for comfy room, friendly staff....room was right by front door and there was quite a bit of noise from people walking in and out the building....not much privacy as we could hear word for word what people were saying softly let alone what they hear us saying.......shower room was a little cramped but was better than... On arrival I was sent to a hotel three doors away. Appears that they own a block of 4 or 5. Room was not too small. Telly and fridge worked. wi fi more or less non existant. Own bathroom and toilet which were spotless. My friend was in another of their hotels at the same time as me and had... More

My friends stayed here when visiting London to watch a show at Victoria Apollo. Well, they were meant to stay here but the receptionist directed them to another hotel 3 doors down the road. I couldn't believe their room when I saw it. No bigger than a box room, with 2 single beds, a sink, and tiny fridge, with no... More

Staying in Pimlico

Neighborhood Profile
Pimlico
Time spent in Pimlico is a slower-paced affair than most other Central London neighborhoods. This largely residential area orderly arranged beside the Thames, is a treasure trove of quaint pubs, subtle architectural charms and local boutiques. Here, art lovers thrill at the chance to visit the world class Tate Britain gallery for its collection of British art from the 1500s to the present. For peace and quiet and some downtime spent along the Thames, Pimlico is highly recommended.
