I'm giving it an extra star because for central London it was the cheapest hotel that night, but my basement room, no window, broken roof light blind, no A/C, sliding plywood door, heard every word of the midnight conversation outside my door as somebody complained to the caretaker their shower didn't work, cold tap stuck, shower door broken, every socket... Took two of my residents to london for 2 days, stayed in this 'hotel'. The staff were great very friendly couldnt fault them, the hotel however was much less to be desired, stained bedding & mattresses, frayed carpets, broken shower tiles, just overly grubby. My work collegue was bitten while in bed but some unknown bug. definitely won't recommend or... More

The hotel is very unloved with worn out and stained carpets and we were very disappointed with our room. This looked like it had not seen a lick of paint in at least 10 years. The walls were dirty with electrical wires on the surface of the walls. The shower was missing bits and the towel holder was falling out... More

It is surely not the most luxurious hotel I have been in my life but considering how expensive London can be,to find a place like this very central on a budget well below the 100 Pounds mark is a good thing. Rooms are very small, breakfast basic and coffe rating below zero :) If you are are travelling alone and... More

I went for one night to see a show. My room was on the 4th floor. The toilet and shower were situated 5 floors down. The sink in my room didn't even have a plug. If you wanted to use the kettle you had to put it on the floor. My pillow was about as thin as a postage stamp.... More

Everything was dirty, there were stains on all the furniture, chewing gum trodden into the carpet, I was bitten in my bed, the door and window latches were broken/ loose, the sink and shower were both blocked, the shower ran either too hot or too cold, the room was too hot and it was difficult to turn the radiator off,... We booked 2 rooms. When we arrived the gentleman took me into the basement to make the payment. We had already paid a deposit of £25 and the balance was £145. He asked me to pay £170. I said I had the deposit already. He said no that was the agents fee so I still owed £170. Luckily I had... More

We stayed just one night as we were in London to go to see Gypsy. I would not want to stay longer than that but it was okay for the one night. All the hotel badly needed decorating. The heating came on during the night making the attic room we were in too hot to sleep. The attic room had... More

Due to time constraints we were unable to look for alternative accommodation. I don't actually know where to start. We were allocated Room 3. Large cracks in the walls, curtains hanging from the tracks, unsure of safety of light fittings, ensuite looked like 2 portaloos stuck together. Hot tap for the sink not working, daren't use the shower, large wet... More

I booked this hotel from photographs on the website for an overnight stay whilst celebrating my wifes 65th birthday with a West End Show. After paying we were shown to room 3, it was like entering a Dungeon, the Curtains were hanging off the curtain track, en suite facilities were a joke with only a COLD water tap to the... More
