I got a free upgrade from a single room with shared bathroom, to a double room with ensuite bathroom for the same price. So this might be affecting my rating, as I didn't pay much . Anyway; the hotel is old, but my room was clean. The sheets smelled fresh and I had extra blankets if needed. I payed 46`£... More

We stayed in this hotel for 5 minutes. This is the first time I have ever walked out of a hotel. Although I knew it was cheap, I expected some sort of standards to be applied. The room, really a single into which a double was forced....stains on the walls, double bed pushed up against the wall. Clean sheets, but... More

I'm really shocked at how bad this hotel is! In brief: Mouse poison box in the room No valance on the beds Torn, broken and stained bed bases Bases directly on the floor - no feet No headboards No mattress/pillow protectors Dirty torn carpet Other furniture in poor state Broken curtains rusty radiator TV not working properly Mouldy shower peeling... After ringing the door bell several times a barefoot man with jogging pants let me in. The room was totally worn down, smelly and unpleasant. Carpet was dirty, no hangers in the closet, no warm water in bathroom sink, the shower was situated beside the bed and not in the bathroom, towel wasn't changed for several days, and no one... More

Stayed overnight due to attending a gig nearby with a friend. The hotel is easy to find and close to the tube, so is in a good location and the beds were comfortable. I was quite disappointed in the bathroom- the bottom of the bathroom door was unevenly cut- as if it had rotted away or been unevenly hacked off,... More

This is a 'first' in as much as this is the only hotel that I've ever stayed in that should request that the guests bring there own handy man tools. Everything in the room was more or less broken. Managed to fix the knob on the shower door for them without tools, however. After climbing 57 stairs to the top... More

I'm not entirely sure where to start with this 'hotel'. To be quite honest, this place is an utter joke! There isn't really any sort of sign outside indicating its a hotel and I had to call for directions to only be told I was stood on the other side of the road. Some bloke answered the door in scruffy... More

The location of this B & B is brilliant but that is all the positive I can give. The welcome was rubbish, the room was cramped with creaky floorboards and creaky bed. The bathroom was shocking with broken tiles (some on the floor had been hidden with a towel on the floor as you step out of the shower). Turn... More

Staff were very helpful & friendly, location was good....the room was not regularly cleaned..no daily housekeeping. Bathroom was very dirty, shower was covered in black mold, sink and toilet was quite old and door did not close. Bedroom furniture was quite dated and draw handles were broken. The kettle was very dirty, we could not use it for drinks or... More
