We had a 4 bedded on the ground floor but it was very quiet. Some would call it small but I've stayed in a 4* just off Oxford and that was also small. The most important thing is that it's very very clean. The staff are great and so friendly. Just round the corner from Kings Cross so you get... More

Near St Pancras but very quiet .The room was small but confortable and clean with enough storage space and clever details such as USB ports. The attendants are friendly and helpful and the price is very reasonable

Ideal small hotel in surprisingly quiet side street close to mainline and tube stations, bus stops and all amenities. It is family-run with pleasant service; very clean, small single room with all requirements for an overnight stay. Adequate breakfast with choice of continental or English.

A small B&B with a very good service. Rooms very clean, good front service. Good English breakfast. Situated in a very central area near a main Underground Station (Kingscross St Pancras). Service and hotel is family-run.

Stayed 2 nights with 2 friends in the triple room. I chose this hotel as it was the only triple room I could find on budget in London that actually had 3 beds and not a double with a bed settee as the 3rd bed. The room was "compact" the beds were not full size singles, but this turned out... More

As the result of several trips to York and Darlington I am becoming acquainted with the Argyle Street Hotels..This is not a manifestation of chaos theory, simply the need to leave London early in the morning and return late at night. The Fairway offered a single room with ensuite - which suited my needs very weil. The room was small... More

Stayed 3 nights in a twin room. The room was small and dark with scuff marks on the walls and radiator. The shower room is extremely minute, dark and run down. Breakfast is served in the basement, which is very warm, airless and squashed. Problems arise when a few guests arrive at the same time due to lack of room... More

Perfect service, spotless rooms, kindness from all staff and a place in London which is well equipped and a perfect base. The bed was perfect and the facilities excellent. Everyone was helpful and the family ensure guests are well looked after,

We first stayed here when travelling via Eurostar and have stayed here every time we visited London since then. The hotel changed hands 3 years ago but still provides good value for money. The rooms are clean, the beds are comfortable and a full English breakfast is included.

Happy with my stay, would stay again. Great that it's so close to King Cross. Ideal if you're travelling all over London as there are so many tube and train lines there, and the new St. Pancras station is very grand. Loads of shops and places to eat. Basic, but clean and pleasant decor. New carpets thoughout the hallways. A... More

Staying in Bloomsbury

Neighborhood Profile
Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
