This small hotel is literally just 5 minutes walk from the Eurostar terminal. It is clean comfortable and very well priced considering the ridiculous prices some hotels in London charge. The staff are particularly pleasant and helpful and the English breakfast is cooked to order rather than buffet style. The double room that I occupied was adequate for a one... More

Good location for Kings Cross, St Pancras, Euston Stations. Small hotel, fairly clean with comfortable beds. Tiny tiny bathroom, no fancy toiletries and very small towels. Plentiful breakfast in smallish breakfast room. Going through Booking.com they took a pre auth amount off the credit card and then we had to pay on arrival as well. The first amount only gets... When my employer said "cart yourself off to London for a small business trip", I had high hopes for a productive and pleasant trip. On the whole, the trip certainly fulfilled expectations. Sadly, the hotel though was not a highlight. I've seen the glowing reviews on here, and I don't doubt that many of them are fair. But, as a... More

Stay between the 8-11th of June 2015. This is a Cheap and cheerful hotel with basic english breaky included. Clean room and very comfortable bed. Rooms are small as is ensuite but what english hotel room isn't? Virtually across the rd from Kings cross station. Don't be shy to ask for more breaky. Was a pleasant stay and happy to... More

I keep going back. It's always clean and tidy and the breakfast is good. Staff are friendly and it is very well placed for major stations. Bookings handled efficiently. Really excellent place to stay.

Found this hotel online and just spent the last two nights (Saturday & Sunday) at the hotel. Big plus for the hotel from the off in that I contacted them 2 weeks ago to ask about the hotel layout and amenities as my wife had undergone a hip replacement 4 weeks ago. They explained the layout and stated that they... More

Stayed here for a couple of nights, due to its location. We booked only a week before, so it was quite expensive. However, staying in London IS expensive. The hotel is very centrally located. The tube runs directly from Heathrow to Kings Cross, and it's only a couple of minutes walk from there. This also means that you can catch... More

Although the room we stayed in was small it was clean and comfortable and had all that we needed. If you are not able to climb stairs easily you need to ask for the ground or first floor, A great location, friendly service, good price would stay there again. Breakfast room is small but the staff attended very quickly.

This hotel has its pros and cons. On the pro side, it is very centrally located a block from King's Cross/St Pancras; has a friendly staff; is very clean; offers free WiFi; has a TV, wash basin, and tea/coffee service in the room; and serves an nice breakfast (included). Great value overall. As for cons, the room is tiny (my... More

I agree with the others that this is a decent hotel for the location and price. It's clean and the staff are nice. However, the staff leaves at midnight and you are left alone in the hotel. That night there were guests who were hostile and even knocked on my door at 1am. When I went to the front desk,... More

Staying in Bloomsbury

Neighborhood Profile
Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
