Just got back from London and I was there with my wife and daughter, we had a brilliant time, Hotel very clean , location 3 mins away from tube and train station, staff warm and friendly. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Pros: Great location, competent and friendly staff, clean and well-kept. Cons: teeny-tiny room, teenie-tinier bathroom, narrow halls and staircases, very slippery bathroom floors. Summary: If you don't need a lot of room and are fairly agile (or at least not mobility impaired), this is a great deal. The wifi works well enough but isn't terribly fast. Of course, you are... I have stayed at this Hotel for a number of times in the past few years, simply because of its convenient location. For many times I had just taken a few minutes’ walk to King’s Cross tube station and took the tube to visit many sightseeing spots within Greater London. As the King’s Cross Railway Station is also nearby, I... More

This hotel was so convenient to the train station!! It takes more time to get out of the train station than it does to get to the hotel once you are out. The hotel was clean. The staff was friendly. The room is small and so is the bathroom. It reminded me of a cruise ship long ago. However, we... More

it's what I expected, fairly basic, typical of many London 2/3* hotels - clean, comfortable, room ok. Breakfast basic but at least there is one. Free wifi. Excellent location for Kings Cross/St Pancras, and only 25-30mins from Dury Lane/Covent Garden area.

Extremely convenient for both King's Cross and St Pancras stations. The rooms are small and basic but offer all the required facilities for a short stay. Rooms cleaned and towels replaced daily. The breakfast is very satisfactory and the service is extremely efficient and pleasant. All the hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. You would do well to find... More

The location (2 mins) from Kings Cross station makes this place worth considering as long as you don't plan to spend too much time in the hotel. The rooms are comfortable and well planned given the space constraints. The breakfast was fine except for somewhat oily fried eggs. The staff were very friendly and helpful. For London, I think this... More

Me and my Friend booked two nights at the Fairway Hotel Mid July 2015. Now it was half and half for us in total we payed £217 for two nights which we could live with as it was to include breakfast and we were obviously expecting anywhere to stay in London for be pricey anyway. So upon arrival the outside... More

Booked single room at Fairways at short notice for business trip to London. Very little choice in area & reviews for cheaper range hotels near Kings Cross were all pretty poor. Have stayed in other hotel nearby & although a noisy area (ear plugs needed for a good nights sleep!) that hotel was quite nice. Paid £110 at Fairways for... More

Thank you for the review . We take such reviews seriously and will address items we have a control of. A contradiction in terms if the only saving grace was a fan and then you complain you had 2 blankets . In peak summer we keep our bedding to a minimum and remove duvets . I think I know the... More

The room was very small and no lift so had to carry bags up the tiny stairway. Breakfast were lovely and the staff very friendly in the kitchen.Good location which was close to bus stops, Metro etc and plenty of eating places close by.

Staying in Bloomsbury

Neighborhood Profile
Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
