Just heading home from 2 nights in London. Have stayed at several hotels, B&Bs with mixed results. The Highbury Centre was excellent. In a quiet private street, 2 stops on the tube from Euston Station then a ten minute walk. Very clean (recently refurbished?) facilities. Breakfast included in the price. Quiet, lovely lounges (2). Showers and toilet areas immaculate. Will... More

This is not a plush place to stay, but is a well run, clean and friendly place for people to set out from as they take in all London has to offer. The room was basic, roomy and had an en-suite setup. The breakfasts is buffet style - eggs, bacon and hash browns, toast cereals and some fruit. The Tube... More

I needed a simple, economic place to stay in London while visiting friends. This was perfect - immaculately clean and tidy. Very welcoming. Breakfast was excellent - was a little too structured being "made" to sit on specific tables but I understand you are trying to use space well. Will definitely come again if I need a couple of nights... More

My family thoroughly enjoyed our time spent at the Highbury. Our room was clean, the bathrooms were nice, and the breakfast was great! Our kids enjoyed going up and down the stairs just checking out the many rooms. The lounge is comfortable. We were traveling back home, after being on the missions' field, and The Highbury Centre was a comfortable... More

We stayed here for 12 nights with 2 adults and 2 kids. Good location (close to buses, Tube, and lovely park), well kept rooms, and helpful staff. Overall very happy and was good value. Family room had 2 singles rather than a double bed, plus bunks for the kids. Bit on the small side for a family also, with bathroom... More

The Highbury centre provides convenient accommodation a short walk from the Highbury-Islington railway station. Our room was large by London standards with a snug ensuite. We stayed for three nights and enjoyed the quiet and peace of the gardens at the back of the property and tree-lined street at the front. The centre provides several levels of accommodation and simple... More

Four of us booked two twin en-suite rooms. They were very clean and had everything you need including tea and coffee making facilities and plugs at the right height for hairdryer etc. Good reading light above the bed. One room was at the front of the lovely old building and the other room was at the back overlooking the lovely... More

Helpful staff, clean and simple, convenient location, good value. We stayed in a double room with a shared bathroom. The rooms aren't fancy, but having a small table and chairs meant we could use the microwave downstairs and enjoy dinner in our room. Other places to relax include a library, two large lounge rooms (one with a tv), the large... More

Simple and spartan. Good value, clean, sober. Reasonably good location to the city center. It is a fair but nice walk to the tube (metro) - not way too far and it is enjoyable, mostly through the park. No air conditioning, but you do not really need that in London most of the time - open your window a bit... More

Great staff, clean room, convenient, free parking and @ a great price. Oh and yes, IN LONDON!!!! Amazing. Single room did remind me of my room in halls at university. So don't expect luxury but it's all there, bed is comfy and clean. Advice: take shower gel & toothpaste
