I spent 4 days in this hotel. The position is great, less than 5 minutes walking to the tube but that's all. Very small room with very small bathroom. Also the breakfast room is really small and you risk all the times to crash with other people or staff members. There is only a poor continental breakfast included with only... More

We stayed in this hotel on 5-8 April 2015. The hotel is located very close to the Earl's Court train station wherein the city and surrounding areas can be easily acces. A lot of shops and restaurants are also within its proximity. The rooms are relatively small though. The hotel staff are very nice and very helpful. Great for first-timers... More

We were looking for an affordable hotel for our 6 nights stay with easy access to the tube and food. This hotel met our search criteria. It was less than 3 mins walk to the Earls Court tube stations. The triple room we stayed were small but cosy. Even with the double and single bed and our 3 bags we... More

Generally, the stay was great! Check in/out was speedy. No hassle at all. Just that during breakfast time, we could not find a place to sit as the hotel was busy. So we just skipped it. Nothing much to offer apart from bread, cereals, drinks and eggs.

I chose this hotel because I was looking for a central location and I didn't want to spend too much. It turned out to be a terrible decision. The smell in the room was unbearable, something like urine covered by cheap incense. There is literately no space in the room, the bed takes up three quarters of the room. The... More

Could not fault my one night stay at The Westbury Hotel in Kensington, London. I don't think you could beat value for money at this place. For less than my friend and I paid less than £50 including breakfast, of which, was more than adequate. There were in fact 3 beds in the room. It was VERY clean, pleasant enough... More

This hotel has a quite good location, only a maximum 5 minute walk to the Earls court underground station, close to fast food and supermarkets. The rooms are not to spacious, and the corridors are very narrow with steep stairs. Great with breakfast included!

This place is perfectly alright if you're just looking for a clean place to sleep while visiting London. Rooms are tiny, but that's not a problem at all. The place is clean, fresh towels every day. Breakfast is fine as well, toasts, cereal, juice and tea/coffe. Great location close to Earl's Court tube station and many bus routes available. Would... More

I came to London for 5 nights to do a number of things - see a London show, have a group reunion meal, meet up with another friend and visit the museums. I selected this hotel because it was reasonably priced, especially for London, it was on the Piccadilly Line (straight from King's Cross), it was only a few minutes... More

Staying in South Kensington

Neighborhood Profile
South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.
