On arrival, there was an issue as they hadn't got us on their booking until the day after. They sorted it out but it meant we had to swap rooms after the first night, not ideal when you have a busy couple of days and just want to get settled. Our first room (no 18) was a very small room... More

Staffs are friendly and helpful. Breakfast is nice but if you want good service, get up early. Place is convenient. Room is small, I can also hear train passing by. Stay away from basement if you can. I heard everything that my neighbours did during their "happy" time.

Situated just across the road from King's Cross & St Pancras Railway Stations this hotel is perfect for rail travellers from the North of England if you are just looking for Bed & Breakfast. Friendly Staff & a surprisingly excellent breakfast make this a perfect stay for anyone on a budget stay in London.

Everything about our stay was just fine. Everything evened itself out, the sheets on the bed were a bit dirty but the shower was very good. We could hear the underground beneath our room but it was actually quite soothing! Good price for the location, staff were friendly and would probably stay there again.

Everything ok. Comfortable, clean, quiet. little toilet but just reformed. Very good location, in front of King's Cross intermodal station. Good breakfast, recommendable english breakfast : ) Little rooms, but it's London..

We were there from 17th to 19th March in a superior twin room. Room was quite small but very clean. Towels were changed daily. 2 instead of 1 towel would have been ideal. Lots of hot water. Breakfast was ok. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. WiFi was ok. Bus and underground transport was just on the other side of... More

Another trip via London, another cheap hotel near King's Cross/St Pancras... The Central is only five minutes from the station. For the money we got a room which was large by London-budget-hotel standards, nicely decorated and with an en-suite shower room (which needed a little bit of TLC but was perfectly functional). Breakfast was basic but freshly-cooked and filling; no... More

Where to start, this was a surptripadvisor reak for my grandchildren as surprise break, it all went down hill as soon as we got to the room after asking for a room with a view, I was shocked that the window looked out onto a yard we were in fact in the basement, with a view of the trash. The... More

Room is small and very basic but clean. Breakfast is included, was ok. Our room was not cleaned the second day, we slept in the first time the maid came. She said she would come back later on but didn't. The second night we came back to find the hotel was locked but after a short wait a member of... More

Chose to stay at this hotel due to its location and price Wasn't expecting anything fantastic as it was fairly cheap for a very central London location and I have stayed in some horrible places in central London for a similar price! Hotel staff were friendly on arrival and our room was a simple clean, basic hotel room. Comfy bed,... More

Staying in Bloomsbury

Neighborhood Profile
Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
