A stone's throw from St Pancras, this hotel has everything you need for a convenient overnight stay if you are heading off early on Eurostar. Although the bedrooms are small and compact they are comfortable and provide all essential amenities. Breakfast is served from 6.30 and they are all geared up for people with a train to catch. Bacon was... More

Me and my girlfriend stayed at the central hotel in kings cross for 2 nights and overall it was 'okay for the money' that we paid. The hotels location is good, only being around the corner from kings cross st. Pancras station. Upon arrival we were greeted by a friendly receptionist who gave us the room key and told us... More

We stayed here for one night, and found the location fantastic for catching the Eurostar the next day. The room (maybe newly refurbished considering other reviews) was small, but clean with wooden floors, comfortable beds, adequate lights and again a small but functionnal bathroom with a good shower. The room was clean, the staff very friendly and the location also... More

Stayed here with my husband as we were attending a wedding and needed somewhere to sleep only. The hotel is opposite St Pancras and Kings Cross stations so is great if you're travelling by train/tube. The room was small but clean with a tiny ensuite bathroom, tv, hair drier and tea and coffee facilities. Unfortunately the hotel is next to... More

I recommend extreme caution with booking this hotel. Location was great, but room was dirty with a disgusting tiny shower with mold. Top floor rooms have been redone, but others are horrible. Not worth the price.

Stayed for one night before travelling on Eurostar the next morning - only 2 minutes away from St. Pancras, so great for those early morning starts. Staff were friendly on arrival. The decor in the room was a little 'tired' and will eventually need some updating, but I had a good night's sleep (nice bed) and only paid £110 -... More

Great Location just across from St Pancras. Staff friendly, helpful. Breakfast was excellent You can't expect 5* accommodation for what you are paying but I thought the room was fine, it was clean and served its purpose of giving me a good night's sleep. Would recommend it, especially if catching the morning EuroStar

Clean room but old torn carpet on stair. Stair is very narrow and the only way out in case of fire (which would be coming up the stairwell right at you!). You could not get out the bedroom window on our floor (2nd) and if you could have it would have been a or 4 story drop onto concrete at... More

I booked a single room here for one night, choosing this hotel as I had to catch any early morning train from nearby Euston station. The room was extremely small, tapering to a point at one end where there was a narrow window. The wardrobe was just big enough for my needs, but there was no chair of any kind.... More

Good points: the location is great, the staff are smiley and helpful and nothing was too much trouble for them, and while the building is old the fixtures are modern and the bed was very comfortable, if a bit small. On the downside: the place is a bit grubby and worn- the creaky stairs desperately need replacing, along with the... More
