My friend and I were on a shopping trip to London and stayed at this hotel for three nights. We booked a superior twin bed room with its own bathroom. Yes the room was small but lets remember that this is London. We had room number 20 on the top floor, the room was very clean as was the bathroom,... More

I do wonder at times as to whether hoteliers really do care about the people they have chosen to serve, or rather being a hotelier is just a big cash cow for them. I do see it on this occasion it being the latter OK, i was aware that for £75 per night, it wasn't going to be the Ritz,... More

our stay was the beginning of a day to remember,a touch of class among many more to follow ,it really takes you back to Victorian times of a golden era ,as people would come together as one to socialize,a selection rolls ,cream teas, pastry's,variety of teas and coffees.services was not lacking any measure of attendance as to the price came into... Our room was at the very bottom of the hotel considering the cost(£230 for two nights) it was very small. We could here the underground trains running all night and then again after about 6am. I had a complimentary breakfast which was well made but the dining area is very small and people were queuing to use it. The staff... More

Everything they described on their website was what was delivered. I had a room for a single person, which had everything I needed. It was small however it was all there, room, desk, with a full opening sash window and ensuite shower room. I found everything to be clean and well maintained. The staff were all friendly and helpful. There... More

On arrival, there was an issue as they hadn't got us on their booking until the day after. They sorted it out but it meant we had to swap rooms after the first night, not ideal when you have a busy couple of days and just want to get settled. Our first room (no 18) was a very small room... More

Staffs are friendly and helpful. Breakfast is nice but if you want good service, get up early. Place is convenient. Room is small, I can also hear train passing by. Stay away from basement if you can. I heard everything that my neighbours did during their "happy" time.

Situated just across the road from King's Cross & St Pancras Railway Stations this hotel is perfect for rail travellers from the North of England if you are just looking for Bed & Breakfast. Friendly Staff & a surprisingly excellent breakfast make this a perfect stay for anyone on a budget stay in London.

Everything about our stay was just fine. Everything evened itself out, the sheets on the bed were a bit dirty but the shower was very good. We could hear the underground beneath our room but it was actually quite soothing! Good price for the location, staff were friendly and would probably stay there again.

Staying in Bloomsbury

Neighborhood Profile
Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
