Staff were fantastic. We were able to leave bags as room wasn't ready when we arrived early. Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was lovely. Very close to Kings Cross Station. Bus stop very near the hotel

Although the staff are pleasant enough, this hotel should be avoided. The family room we were given was nothing like the pictures in the website. It was very small, full of damp and condensation, the bathroom was tiny and had mould spots on the ceiling. The side lamp didn't work, the walls badly need a lick of paint, a load... More

Good value for London. Full breakfast included, though rather basic. Only some rooms have en suite shower/toilet. No lift. Young staff very friendly. Close to Kings Cross/St. Pancras and Euston neaby.

Although because this is a basic B&B Hotel and the expectations were not high from the beginning, our experience was disappointing. The Facts: 1. Not the room we were promised We had agreed by e-mail to stay to an upper floor facing Front room. On arrival the owner of the hotel told us that our room was at the back... More

This hotel was picked mostly by it’s proximity to the train station for our Eurostar departure early the next morning. The room was small and spare, but clean and tidy. A very reasonable price for central London, we did have to share a toilet and a shower with the other rooms on our hallway (I think there were 4 other... More

Very nice, little Hotel :) Rooms are small but comfy, staff very nice and helpful. Another big positive is that it's very central, so you can reach everything quickly. Kingscross St Pancrass station is right across the street. Definitely recomment this Hotrl and will stay there again.

Stayed there for the New Year. A perfect place near King's Cross station, just opposite St. Pancras. 25-30 minutes walk from Oxford Street. Nice rooms with a small shower. But the staff is very welcoming and helpful. Would recomend it if you are looking for something not expensive and comfortable.

We stayed at the Central Hotel Argyle Street London on 9th Decenber 2015, we were allocated room 1, on viewing this apology for a room in a hotel wall paper held on with builders tape, decaying paint on skirting board, the shower was dire the rail on which the shower curtain ran on was rusty, so was the radiator in... The room is very small, but that's what it was advertised as, a small single. Even so I has a desk with chair and 3 large draws and a wardrobe. The bed is really comfortable. Reception were very good about the fact that my bag was arriving later (thanks Emirates!) and offered to keep it downstairs or send it up.... More

Staying in Bloomsbury

Neighborhood Profile
Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
