Wow! This is a beautiful hotel. Located near the park, shopping, restaurants and the underground. Can't beat it. Staff was top notch. The conceirge lounge was fantastic with a great selection of food and snacks. Rooms were nicely appointed and very classy. Highly recommend to anyone wanting to stay in a wonderful part of London

Hi, my wife and I stayed here for one night in a newly refurbished Junior Suite. It was amazing. From the initial arrival the staff were great, discreet and really made the stay special. Firstly, as a Gold MR member, this is not your normal Marriott. There is no red colour and the look of the hotel is contemporary with... More

What a great experience in London. It all started with our stay at the Marriott London Park Lane. The staff was incredible. The nicest and most helpful hotel staff I've experienced. The hotel is located across from Hyde Park, on Oxford Street and steps away from the Underground. I don't believe you'll be disappointed when you stay at this hotel.

There is a refit happening at the moment but you wouldn't know it. You don't hear the workers and we only saw 2 of them. The new look lobby, bar and exec lounge are all wonderfully decorated and designed for their guest's comfort. The welcome when checking in was very warm and genuine. We stayed in a junior suite overlooking... More

This hotel has gone through recent renovation and is now surely one of the best places to stay in London. Pro's: Friendly staff, large room, super bathroom with Grohe Rainshower, light switches where you expect them to be, large TV with all the sport channels, excellent al a carte breakfast. Heated towel rail was a nice touch. Initially, we were... More

We booked the Park Lane on points for a quick weekend getaway and expected the usual Marriott experience - larger hotel, busy etc etc. Park Lane is entirely different. Relatively small (5 floors), it projects like a boutique hotel - quiet, relaxed, and a nice respite from busy days of sightseeing in a busy metropolis. Pros: * nicely renovated lobby... More

Everything about our recent stay at this hotel was first class. From our welcome on arrival until we checked out we felt truly valued. The room and its bathroom were large and spotlessly clean, it was indeed a luxurious experience!

This 5 star hotel has been going through a major refurbishment and changed it style completely. Since last year it`s gone from a typical businessmans hotel to something more a kin to a french chateau. Nothing seems to be overlooked. It now feels fresh , and really some place I would bring my wife . The feminine touch cant be... More

Situated just off Oxford street right next to Marble Arch tube station this is an excellent hotel in a prime location. The staff can't do enough to help you. Rooms were spacious as were the bathrooms. Worth getting a park view room as inside rooms look out onto walls. The pool is lovely and warm and has ambient ceiling lighting... More

This hotel was still under renovation when I went in November however they have finished renovating the lobby and the lounge for gold members downstairs. I love the new look and the lounge is very comfortable for breakfast and drinks. The staff in the lounge was attentive and friendly. Hotel room was clean. I personally like the location. It is... Staying in Mayfair

Neighborhood Profile
Mayfair
Set beside some of London's best parks and home to world-class galleries, luxurious hotels, and famed thoroughfares, the ultra upscale Mayfair is one of London's most exclusive haunts. Here the shopping is haute, the dining is exquisite, and the nightlife is vibrant. A casual stroll through the area’s chic streets will reveal that Michelin stars and chauffeured cars are practically the norm here. Even if you're on a tight budget, this exceptionally well connected swath of Central London is worth exploring, if only for the chance to take a peak at the goings on of upper crust English society.
