My wife and I just returned to this property for a five night pre-Christmas stay. As noted by others, the location is ideal, the staff go out of their way to be helpful and friendly and the property itself is beautiful. That's it plain and simple. Five stars.

My family was on a month long tour of Paris, London, Edinbough and Amsterdam. I have to say that our stay at the Marriott on London Park Lane was by far our best experience. The rooms were great, the staff very pleasant and helpful but the food was the best. The executive lounge was a terrific place for a morning... More

A nice Marriott hotel with good location in London. The hotel is lovely, and the Christmas decoration beautiful. The front desk staff should smile more, they have something to learn from the doormen. My room was good, but nothing special. It could need an upgrade, and I didn't have a view. Being a gold elite member I usually get an upgrade, but this was a very standard room.The... More

The hotel is undergoing some renovations but that did not keep the staff from providing excellent service. Though we only stayed one night, we had the MOST delightful time. No request was too small. The newly renovated room was gorgeous.

Lovely hotel. Had a room with twin beds so I didn't have to snuggle with my friend. Awesome, friendly staff. Never had to even open the door as someone was always there to do that. Executive lounge was a great place to grab a quick breakfast or evening drink before heading back out. Would definitely stay here again. Around the... More

This is a very solid hotel. I travel for work, and I've stayed at Marriott & Ritz properties around the world. The rooms are quite large, which is a pleasant surprise in Europe, and the rooms have US power outlets, which is a very convenient touch. The concierge lounge is well appointed and serves a standard breakfast in the morning.... More

The hotel facilities and staff were exceptional. The location for Christmas shopping, restaurants, transport links etc. is fantastic. We stayed on a Saturday night and it was great to be able to return to the hotel from Oxford Street and Regents Street after a long day Christmas shopping without having to face a long journey home, particularly as the crowds... Stayed at the Marriott while attending an awards ceremony elsewhere on Park Lane. The Grosvenor House had "overbooked", so we were transferred to the Marriott at the other end of Park Lane. From the first meeting with the door staff, to checking out, the staff could not have been better. The twin room that I was given was well appointed,... More

I always stay at this hotel on business trips because it is well located on the central line to get into the City, the staff are great, and it has a fantastic pool. However about a month ago a nightclub (under separate ownership) opened in the basement of the hotel. Even though I was on the first floor, last night... More

Staying in Mayfair

Neighborhood Profile
Set beside some of London's best parks and home to world-class galleries, luxurious hotels, and famed thoroughfares, the ultra upscale Mayfair is one of London's most exclusive haunts. Here the shopping is haute, the dining is exquisite, and the nightlife is vibrant. A casual stroll through the area’s chic streets will reveal that Michelin stars and chauffeured cars are practically the norm here. Even if you're on a tight budget, this exceptionally well connected swath of Central London is worth exploring, if only for the chance to take a peak at the goings on of upper crust English society.
