Exactly as described, clean basic spacious rooms; ideal for a one night stay or longer. Situated near bars, cafes and restaurants. Will stay here again, without question Tube station and bus stops near by

Stayed here over the early May Bank Holiday. Booked a family room for 4 through booking.com. When we arrived we were allocated a room for 3 and told "This often happens with booking.com". They offered to sort by putting in an extra bed which literally left no room at all between the beds. We asked for a change only to... More

Was looking for a hotel in central London that wasn't going to break the bank. We've stayed in Premier Inns before, so thought we'd see what we could find. It was amongst the cheapest hotels we found in the area, but everything was exactly as we wanted. Typical Premier Inn, comfy beds, clean and well presented, without feeling like your... More

We booked a room here as we wanted a central location during our short 3 day stay. I had booked two rooms for four of us (I have two daughters aged 14). However during checkin, the staff at the desk explained that they have a family room and I need not take two rooms. She immediately refunded the amount I... More

Stayed for 2 nights on room only basis. Usual clean, comfortable room and great staff that you come to expect at Premier Inns. The hotel is in a good location for the tube station, but is in an excellent spot for bars and restaurants. We were spoilt for choice with Kingsland Road just 2 minutes away - appears to be... More

An excellent hotel location for the "hip" East End and the price is great. We had a very comfortable stay and remarked on the comfort of the bed and pillows. We didn't dine in the restaurant because of the abundance of fantastic places in the area but I don't doubt that the standard of food would be as you would... More

We chose this hotel as we were going to a wedding in Hackney, but had some spare time to have a mooch around. The Hotel was comfortable and clean and fairly quiet for a London Hotel in this price range. The bar was reasonable too, but there are quite a few places around that offer more variety and a better... More

The hotel chain's website boasts "amazing views across the London skyline" but I couldn't see much more than the student accommodation adjacent from my 7th floor room. The room itself was spotlessly clean and a fair size. It was not possible to open the window which meant that the air conditioning had to be used, not the most environmentally friendly... More

Then comes the meal on first nights the meal deal seems good value but I ordered steak chips and salad never got my chips my partner... More

The location of this hotel was absolutely magnificent and looking back to the rest of my experience I'm glad it was. Firstly, we arrived on a Friday night in the middle of April. We thought that Old Street not being that close to the centre would be quite quiet. We were wrong. The whole hotel was overrun with people. On... More

Staying in Shoreditch

Neighborhood Profile
Shoreditch
The western front of the edgy East End, Shoreditch is a perennially trendy haven for anything “street” – be it art, food, or fashion. With its handful of well connected transportation links dotting its perimeter, along with an ever increasing variety of shops, hotels, bars, and restaurants, it's easy to explore this trend-conscious and youth-oriented neighborhood. There's a lingering post-industrial grit about Shoreditch, but because it shares a border with “The City” financial district, the influence from its upscale neighbor can result in fascinating outcomes.
