Our room was in the hotels basement without any natural daylight. The only window was with a view to the storage room. The room was very cold and the painting job wasn't finished in all walls. After two nights an electrical problem forced us to change the hotel because there were not other rooms left in this hotel. While booking... More

Although we cannot complain about any one item I feel after looking at the photos of the hotel and the reviews on this site that reality was somewhat poorer than the expectations. The bathroom was nice but basic, no cup or glass though. The bed was nothing special and the headboard felt like it was about to fall off at... More

For a treat we had two nights here and were so impressed by the level of service from bellboys to front of house to housekeeping. Our room was huge and divine. It was charming and immaculate. The food, Roast beef and yorkshire pudding was the best we'd eaten and High Tea an experience in itself. Do not hesitate, this the... More

went here for a few days in november 2011,ideal for london city trip, within walking distance from the baker st underground line or the marylebone station.not to expensive for the area. if you like tea making facilities there isnt any in your room which is a shame but there is in reception which is a very small area. I write this review at 4am as I have been awake all night! AVOID room 103.. The road noise is unbearable - its like lying in the central reservation of the M4!! When the rooms above use their bathrooms it sounds like a waterfall in your room. AVOID, AVOID, AVOID, AVOID, AVOID, AVOID, AVOID! More

My wife and I spent four nights here for a long weekend. Our room wasn't in the main hotel building at No 173, it was across the road at No 156. The room was quite small, although modern and clean (the redecoration of the room wall left a lot to be desired - if they'd got matching paint it would... More

I would stay here again, which says a lot. The room was small, but very clean, lovely modern, clean bathroom. There was no kettle for tea or coffee in the room, but the continental breakfast in the morning was very good. I would recommend taking earplugs (which I always have with me now when traveling) due to the fact that... More

Stayed for one night on business, the location map on the website is poor so although in a great location it took me a while to find. I was put in the annexe across the road, room was small but clean and modern. Basic facilities in the room and breakfast doesnt start until 7.30pm which isnt great if you re... More

I booked the hotel for my partner and I to stay for one night..... Then read some reviews and started to panic!! There was nothing to panic about, yes the rooms are quiet small, but we weren't planning on having a party in there, it was just to get our heads down. The room was clean, shower was hot, and... Our room was the smallest and most inconvenient hotel room I have ever stayed in and I have visited many hotels in my life! The room was not in the main hotel building but accross the street. There was no elevator and the room was on the third floor. The stairs are so narrow that can be dangerous when walking... More
