The suite was small but comfortable. Linen was adequate. Breakfast was disorganised. There was a shortage of glasses, cutlery& condiments. When the orange juice ran out the staff placed a selection of cartons on the table. We noted that the waitress had to run out to buy eggs from a local supermarket! The stay was mot value for money.

Great value hotel in London's Financial district. If you want a decent hotel still in the middle of the city and don't want to pay 400 pounds a night, this is a great find. Stayed 2 nights on a Friday and Saturday in July and it worked out great. Had nice pubs and places to eat within walking distance. Also... More

A comfortable lounge with free coffee and tea. A clean and nice environment, tidy room and very good location. The 24 hours front desk with friendly staff which is very helpful to the traveler, foreigner especially.

Hotel right next to St Paul's Catherdral in heart of the city. Superb bus and tube routes to whole of town. Rooms excellent with free Wifi, cold bottled water, total control over room temp and everything you could wish for to have a good nights sleep even a white noise button! Not that you would want to sleep a great... More

I'm regularly staying here for business. The location is great; directly next to St Paul's cathedral with many offices and restaurants in walking distance. The rooms are reasonably sized (for London where the standard hotel room is only slightly bigger then the bed). The furniture is functional but a bit dated as are the bathrooms. The location is very noisy... More

This hotel is in a great location right at the bottom of the steps to Saint Paul's Cathedral. Self service check in is fast and easy. The rooms, however, are very basic and the furnishings are a bit tired. Bathrooms are tiny and, again, a bit tired. This used to be priced a bit lower than the other places in... More

This is one of those new style brands, which is more about efficiency, good quality and reasonable rates in popular locations. I needed a bed for the night near my office and this was less than premier Inn /travelodge equivalent and offered a bit more. Only slightly issue is that rooms that are directly on Ludgate Hill, not surprisingly suffer from... More

It was a very comfortable stay although we were there for business and it was very close to the venue we were hosting at. I would definitely stay again and would recommend to a friend or colleague. St Paul's is an excellent location in London and would be good to see the sights if I was a tourist. The food... More

I stayed at Club Quarters St. Paul's for 2 nights while on a business visit to London. Location is excellent, arrived early (11.15am) and was handed the key to my room despite not having made any specific requests. Reception staff was friendly and helpful. On the afternoon of 4 August, having checked out in the morning and upon returning to... More

Staying in City of London

Neighborhood Profile
City of London
From its ancient past as a Roman trading outpost to its 21st century status as the wealthiest square mile in the world, the financial district known simply as “The City” is one of London's most historic and fascinating neighborhoods. Here high rise office towers such as Norman Foster’s Gherkin mingle with Roman ruins and architectural marvels from virtually every era in between, including Christopher Wren's glorious St.Paul's Cathedral, and John Soane's dauntingly classicist Bank of England. This neighborhood is also home to some of the finest restaurants and plushest hotels in Europe, in addition to an assortment of watering holes, upscale shops, and Tube stations. During the week, the City is abuzz with white collar workers going about their business; the weekend sees this area turn into a quiet haven for sightseers.
