We stayed at this hotel last weekend for 2 nights. The hotel was in a perfect location, very clean and friendly staff. However the bar was closed by 11pm on a Saturday night, you could hear the room next door very clearly and doors constantly banging. But we would return.

I stayed at the hotel for 5 nights for business travel, while my stay I found the hotel good for the location and bad for the service by the reception stuff and an average room. I didn't get the value of the hotel as it was very expensive where I didn't get the return as I was expecting.

The rooms are spacious and clean with quite good facilities. The beds are reasonably comfortable and the quality of food in the restaurant is very good. The location is also great. However, the rooms are very noisy- not only from the road outside but also from joining rooms- I could hear the guest next door getting better up to use... More

Staying here was a special birthday treat for myself, with my hubby and our daughter we stayed in a family room with little kitchenette and bathroom, it was cosy but spacious at the same time, we really liked it which was good considering we paid more than we usually would for one night in a hotel was about £160. Had... More

Great and helpful Stuff, I really appreciated the lounge on the ground floor with snacks available as well as filtered water; good place to work a bit. The suite was big and clean. Super location, easy to access. Breakfast not so rich... for a vegetarian there wasn't much to choose from.

Upon arrival at 11 am, we were told that our room was not ready. However, the friendly reception offered to hold our luggages & loose bags in its store, while we strolled the streets of London. We came back after our dinner and were pleasantly surprised to find that they have already transferred all our stuff to our room. We... More

For a business trip it was good. The rooms are a bit small and the bedding colors are outdated. They do provide a number of amenities such as free self service laundry. Business center in the lobby which includes snacks and coffee. There is an adequate size gym on the lower level. the hotel does have access to a restaurant... More

It's the little extras which make this hotel a positive experience. The freely supplied bottled water was much appreciated as we made our way around London. The free coffee etc in the lounge area is also a nice touch. Our room slept 3 people and the fact it had a microwave, cutlery, fridge etc...was an opportunity to make savings on... More

Stayed here for the weekend. Wife uses it for buisness stays so we are familier with it. Staff are really friendly, great service, nice rooms, great location. Food in Brasserie downstairs is excellent. A really great place

Staying in City of London

Neighborhood Profile
City of London
From its ancient past as a Roman trading outpost to its 21st century status as the wealthiest square mile in the world, the financial district known simply as “The City” is one of London's most historic and fascinating neighborhoods. Here high rise office towers such as Norman Foster’s Gherkin mingle with Roman ruins and architectural marvels from virtually every era in between, including Christopher Wren's glorious St.Paul's Cathedral, and John Soane's dauntingly classicist Bank of England. This neighborhood is also home to some of the finest restaurants and plushest hotels in Europe, in addition to an assortment of watering holes, upscale shops, and Tube stations. During the week, the City is abuzz with white collar workers going about their business; the weekend sees this area turn into a quiet haven for sightseers.
