Stayed here last weekend and it was brilliant. Staff were lovely and very accommodating. Room was very clean and had all the mod con's you would need. Would highly recommend and will definitely be returning.

Perfectly adequate but there are better central London hotels for the money. Room was small. We were allocated a twin room without asking. We wanted a double and would have said so if asked! Only one pillow each. Not really a duvet either-a sheet with a quilt on top. Bells from St Paul's quite annoying on a Sunday morning too!

My colleague and I stayed here for a business trip and would definitely go back again. St. Paul's Cathedral righ on the doorstep, along with a great selection of bars and restaurants. The staff were very helpful and rooms very spacious and clean.

I have stayed many times at this hotel - most of my stays have been for business but because it is in such a great position and the staff are so helpful we have come as a family too. This was the first club quarters I have stayed at and I would choose them because of their fantastic home from... More

Stayed here for a weekend. It was very central for everything in London and was next to St Pauls cathedral .The reception area was very clean, tidy and professional and the staff were friendly and very helpful. Thought the rooms were a bit small, but they were very clean and very tidy. The only down side for me was that... More

This hotel has a perfect location for a holiday visitor to London or for a business traveller, if either want somewhere comfortable and sensible and not wildly expensive right in the City of London. The hotel could not be better situated as it is about 100m from the front of St Paul's Cathedral Reception is efficient (as is the website... More

It was a good stay. Right next to St. Paul's Cathedral. Easy. Convenient. Self service for check in and out if you want, and they have people if you need that are always available. Would come back again

The location is great. Right next to St Pauls makes Sunday stays/sleep ins a challenge as the bells ring for 30 minutes every hour. Walking is easy to the London Bridge and a little longer to the Soho/castle. I would suggest taking the tube that is very close by. The room was clean and comfortable.

Excellent location in the Heart of London City, major attractions in walking distance, plenty pubs straith opposite , sightseeing buses stops at front door of hotel, witch not disturbing visitors. Basic shop facilities (SportDirect, Sainsbury, etc. in 5 min distance.

Everything about this hotel was great except the heating system. It was on and very high and could not be controlled in the room. Krishna the front desk person was great and very helpful. All of the staff were great. Location was perfect, right at hop on hop off buses and between two underground stops. If it were not for... More

Staying in City of London

Neighborhood Profile
City of London
From its ancient past as a Roman trading outpost to its 21st century status as the wealthiest square mile in the world, the financial district known simply as “The City” is one of London's most historic and fascinating neighborhoods. Here high rise office towers such as Norman Foster’s Gherkin mingle with Roman ruins and architectural marvels from virtually every era in between, including Christopher Wren's glorious St.Paul's Cathedral, and John Soane's dauntingly classicist Bank of England. This neighborhood is also home to some of the finest restaurants and plushest hotels in Europe, in addition to an assortment of of watering holes, upscale shops, and Tube stations. During the week, the City is abuzz with white collar workers going about their business; the weekend sees this area turn into a quiet haven for sightseers.
