I'm regularly staying here for business. The location is great; directly next to St Paul's cathedral with many offices and restaurants in walking distance. The rooms are reasonably sized (for London where the standard hotel room is only slightly bigger then the bed). The furniture is functional but a bit dated as are the bathrooms. The location is very noisy... More

This hotel is in a great location right at the bottom of the steps to Saint Paul's Cathedral. Self service check in is fast and easy. The rooms, however, are very basic and the furnishings are a bit tired. Bathrooms are tiny and, again, a bit tired. This used to be priced a bit lower than the other places in... More

This is one of those new style brands, which is more about efficiency, good quality and reasonable rates in popular locations. I needed a bed for the night near my office and this was less than premier Inn /travelodge equivalent and offered a bit more. Only slightly issue is that rooms that are directly on Ludgate Hill, not surprisingly suffer from... More

It was a very comfortable stay although we were there for business and it was very close to the venue we were hosting at. I would definitely stay again and would recommend to a friend or colleague. St Paul's is an excellent location in London and would be good to see the sights if I was a tourist. The food... More

I stayed at Club Quarters St. Paul's for 2 nights while on a business visit to London. Location is excellent, arrived early (11.15am) and was handed the key to my room despite not having made any specific requests. Reception staff was friendly and helpful. On the afternoon of 4 August, having checked out in the morning and upon returning to... More

Just back from three nights at this hotel. Absolutely great location, close to lots of subway/train stations and walking distance to lots of attractions. Rooms were fine, didn't spend a lot of time in them to be fair, but a bottle of wine left for our anniversary was a lovely touch. Would stay again.

Just had 2 nights here and to be honest I've no idea why people rate it so highly. The rooms are sparse, small and noisy. The furniture is cheap and the windows have putty around the joints, presumably to keep the noise out. Beds are so uncomfortable our mattress had dip in the middle, staff are nice but that's a... Stayed in this hotel for 1 night and had a truly wonderful stay. Stayed with 2 young children and staff couldn't have done enough for us. Tunde was especially very helpful. Room was spotless & very comfortable. Hotel is in a great location next to St. Paul's cathedral with everything you need nearby. Extra little touches such as the cooled... More

Great location - next to St Paul's Cathedral. Bus stop outside hotel for public and hop on hop off buses. Nice cafes around for a quick breakfast. We had a suite with a queen and sofa bed. Good size of room for the location. Sofa bed was a bit uncomfortable. The shower in the bathroom kept flooding as water didn't... More

Staying in City of London

Neighborhood Profile
City of London
From its ancient past as a Roman trading outpost to its 21st century status as the wealthiest square mile in the world, the financial district known simply as “The City” is one of London's most historic and fascinating neighborhoods. Here high rise office towers such as Norman Foster’s Gherkin mingle with Roman ruins and architectural marvels from virtually every era in between, including Christopher Wren's glorious St.Paul's Cathedral, and John Soane's dauntingly classicist Bank of England. This neighborhood is also home to some of the finest restaurants and plushest hotels in Europe, in addition to an assortment of watering holes, upscale shops, and Tube stations. During the week, the City is abuzz with white collar workers going about their business; the weekend sees this area turn into a quiet haven for sightseers.
