We have stayed here on numerous occasions over the last 16 years. It is not luxurious but excellent value. If you want clean sheets and towels an adequate breakfast, handy for Euston station at a good price this is your place. They are improving the toilets and bathrooms , which are shared but rooms have sinks, T.V. and drinks making facilities. I want... More

The room was hotter than the sun. Even with the window open it was uncomfortably hot and I couldn't wait to get outside in the morning. The bunk bed was surprising comfortable though. Breakfast was fairly rough but the haddock in milk was to die for. A must try. All things considered though I paid £30 to stay in the... More

This hotel is very cheap compared to the hotels around it. Although the furniture and rooms are very dated, the rooms, bathrooms and public areas were kept very clean and tidy. The location was perfect. Five mins from Kings Cross and twenty minutes walk to Covent Garden/Oxford Street. Also Euston station and underground is literally over the road. The breakfast... More

Had the worst nights sleep here ever! The tap in the room would randomly gargle in the middle of the night. I could hear people taking next door & all the doors slam If not carefully let to close. At 5:45 i was woken up by people across from me(not the horels fault I understand). I rang down twice to... More

We stayed 3 nights at the hotel. We booked a double room but got a small room with 2 separate beds. The room was L-shaped so we couldn't even see each other when we were in bed. But apparently the hotel staff told us that that type of room was the ones they had a contract with with our tour... More

I booked this hotel as part of a city break deal with Superbreaks. I'd never heard of it before but the location was excellent and past reviews looked positive enough. However, I really did not enjoy my stay here. The hotel reception is shabby and has an overwhelming smell, which I think comes from the very worn and unclean carpet.... More

Hotels in the central zone of London are famously expensive...the County is an exception, Rooms are small and not en suite but have tv, wash basin, towels, and coffee making facilities. Plenty of bathrooms close to rooms. Huge breakfast, staff are friendly, the place is clean if a little shabby in places. Wifi only in the foyer , For a... More

Stayed at the County Hotel for the first time with a friend for just the night, as we had two full days in London to do some photography. The staff were friendly, and the room where we stayed (617), was as i expected, no thrills of course, but somewhere good to get some sleep after a long day in London.... More

I love this hotel and this is my fourth stay here. It is a fifteen minute walk to Oxford Street via the History Museum; Covent Garden is about 20 minutes and also the West End about 25. It is a few minutes from Euston and about 5 minutes from Kings Cross/St Pancras. Lots of coffee shops about, a good chinese... More

My wife and I stayed here while I was undergoing medical treatment, while I was in hospital the staff looked after my wife above and beyond. They were fantastic, the room was clean and the bed comfortable, My wife was given a complementary 3 course meal in any of the hotel groups restaurants the day I had surgery. My thanks... More

Staying in Bloomsbury

Neighborhood Profile
Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
