The location is good, and the breakfast is good and included. After that, nothing good to say. Our room was very basic, with toilets and washrooms along the corridor. You get what you pay for, of course. However, it seems a lot of young, foreign tourists are attracted by the price. We spent 3 nights here and had hardly a... More

Whole hotel is dated and needs a revamp. I had a single room for 1 night which was adequate, but had a strange smell to it. Water was left in kettle, bed was comfortable. Shared toilet was clean, shower had mould around edge of bath and all over ceiling on floor 4. Continental breakfast was a bread roll amd jam... More

I will never again go to the county hotel again , very rude staff especially one named Monica and another lady don't know her name. Me and my sister went to our rooms and when we opened we stayed with our mouth open because the room was not good not even for a small child. We went down to complaint... More

I stayed for 4 nights from 29 December in room 121. The hotel is in a fabulous location and easily walkable to the centre and well connected to all over London and beyond as it is about 200 metres from Euston. When I was looking for a hotel, I saw prices of Premier Inns, budget Accor hotels and Tune hotels... More

A hotel in central London for £50? Well, yes. Decent breakfast, good location. But, not en suite, incredibly dated decor and fittings. You'l find much nicer budget hotels or hostels, but they might not be as 'budget' as £50.

Checked in for a 4 day stay on the 29TH December, booked via superbreak and got a great price as we booked in september. The hotel is a short walk from Kings cross and even closer to Euston Station & underground. We arrived at the hotel and the receptionist was pleasant enough, pointed us over the the porters desk where... More

My wife and I stayed here for 1 night in mid December 2014. Only 1 night because we travelled to Brussels the following day, The Reception was friendly, polite and competant and we were allocated room 122. This was a double bedded room with plenty of floor space, well decorated, clean and with what seemed like a recently renewed carpet. Towels,bed... More

For the price I paid this hotel provides a very basic room with hand basin. Bath and shower shared with four rooms. Breakfast was included and it was filling and included cereal, fruit juice, hot drinks and cooked breakfast. The only downside was the varying of quality in the staff. 1. Some didn't know which rooms were occupied and having... More

For a start we like the County great location and a great price for a hotel in the center of London. The rooms are always clean as are the shared bathrooms. Tea and coffee in the rooms which is always a plus. Also a cooked buffet breakfast to start your day. From our last visit it seems that they are... More

My father purchased a city break for my husband and I as an early Christmas gift. The county hotel (hotel is used loosely!) was the hotel that unfortunately came as part of the break. We had checked the reviews beforehand and we weren't expecting luxury but wow were we in for a shock! On entering the building the fusty fishy... More

Staying in Bloomsbury

Neighborhood Profile
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
