We stayed 3 nights at the hotel. We booked a double room but got a small room with 2 separate beds. The room was L-shaped so we couldn't even see each other when we were in bed. But apparently the hotel staff told us that that type of room was the ones they had a contract with with our tour... More

I booked this hotel as part of a city break deal with Superbreaks. I'd never heard of it before but the location was excellent and past reviews looked positive enough. However, I really did not enjoy my stay here. The hotel reception is shabby and has an overwhelming smell, which I think comes from the very worn and unclean carpet.... More

Hotels in the central zone of London are famously expensive...the County is an exception, Rooms are small and not en suite but have tv, wash basin, towels, and coffee making facilities. Plenty of bathrooms close to rooms. Huge breakfast, staff are friendly, the place is clean if a little shabby in places. Wifi only in the foyer , For a... More

Stayed at the County Hotel for the first time with a friend for just the night, as we had two full days in London to do some photography. The staff were friendly, and the room where we stayed (617), was as i expected, no thrills of course, but somewhere good to get some sleep after a long day in London.... More

I love this hotel and this is my fourth stay here. It is a fifteen minute walk to Oxford Street via the History Museum; Covent Garden is about 20 minutes and also the West End about 25. It is a few minutes from Euston and about 5 minutes from Kings Cross/St Pancras. Lots of coffee shops about, a good chinese... More

My wife and I stayed here while I was undergoing medical treatment, while I was in hospital the staff looked after my wife above and beyond. They were fantastic, the room was clean and the bed comfortable, My wife was given a complementary 3 course meal in any of the hotel groups restaurants the day I had surgery. My thanks... More

We stayed in room 722 for 2 nights which was nice and quiet. Good value for money as it is in an excellent location. Staff were very nice and the room was tidy and clean enough. There is some old mould on the ceiling and the sink tap dripped but we fixed that by putting a towel in the sink.... More

Location at Euston/ Euston Square station perfect. Nice hotel with typical English living style (pretty old house, leak windows), but clean room, comfy bed, daily fresh towels, just perfect for a short budget city trip! English breakfast also included, free wifi in the lobby.

A hotel that is great value for money. The breakfast is enormous if you have a fry-up, a fish alternative or rather smaller a continental toast and cereal. The rooms are basic but clean share bathrooms and toilets also very clean.

I booked this hotel as it was very cheap and I had planned to stay in it only for a few hours after a night out. Room was large and had tea/coffee and a TV (albeit old). Double bed had sheets only so I was very cold. Sink in room, taps dripped all night, shared bathroom which were very clean... More

Staying in Bloomsbury

Neighborhood Profile
Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
