No big surprises just Sofitel expectations met in a city where expectations sadly need to be lowered at times. Staff friendly and helpful. Room and bathroom could use an upgrade but that's only because I tend to stay in newer hotels.

Quite frankly hard to find a negative to this hotel. We stayed for a weekend and enjoyed the proximity to Piccadilly Circus and Covent Garden. Only a 15min walk to the theater area. Amazingly peaceful and quiet considering the area. We've stayed in other Sofitel hotels around the world, but this has got to be my favorite one so far....

Room service could be improved. I had tea bags in my room but failed to find a tea cup. That is really strange. Breakfast starts at 6.30 (rather than at 6 am which would be more convenient) and service is too slow.
