The hotel is really well located (2 blocks from Victoria Station), and I thought the neighborhood was clean and safe. Bedrooms and bathrooms are very clean, and breakfast (although not that great) is included. Staff is also very helpful, and the price is fair. The only negative aspect is the lack of a lift, but they helped me with my... More

Good location. Bathrooms were clean. 24 h reception. Breakfast was OK, but food hygiene rate was only 3! Some money was frozen in my account, and on arrival I had to pay the hotel fee again. The frozen fee was released a few hours after the actual payment. So basically I had to have twice of the actual amount in... More

The Airways Hotel is just 5 minutes walk from Victoria Coach Station and close to tube station. Our room was small but adequate and clean though the pillows were really unfomfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. I wouldn't stay there again as we had an issue with payment. Firstly we assumed we were paying our bill in British Pounds... More

Three oldies -70's - needed a hotel near Victoria Station and found a triple room - one double, one single - with breakfast at this basic hotel. Room was clean, fresh towels each day, very pleasant staff, bus to city (Trafalgar Square etc) just around the corner and lots of places to eat. We even walked from the hotel along... More

We decided to visit The Tower of London and wanted a hotel close by. The hotel is in walking distance from Victoria Tube station which is only four stops from Tower Hill. The Airways is not the Ritz but for one night it did its job. The advantages of stopping at this hotel is that it is cheap, it has... More

My experience of this hotel can be summed up by saying that the staff are very good and not much else. It was lucky that I only stayed one night as I couldn't stick the smell coming from the bathroom. Mould in the shower is not a good selling point! The room was small and because I was in the... Staying in Pimlico

Neighborhood Profile
Pimlico
Time spent in Pimlico is a slower-paced affair than most other Central London neighborhoods. This largely residential area orderly arranged beside the Thames, is a treasure trove of quaint pubs, subtle architectural charms and local boutiques. Here, art lovers thrill at the chance to visit the world class Tate Britain gallery for its collection of British art from the 1500s to the present. For peace and quiet and some downtime spent along the Thames, Pimlico is highly recommended.
