The Airways Hotel is in a good location for Victoria and Pimlico Stations and the Apollo and Palace theatres. We had a 3 night stay in a room on the 3rd floor. Unfortunately there is no lift in this hotel, which could be a problem for some people. The room was very small with barely any room to walk round... More

This hotel has a good location when arriving into Victoria train/coach station. Great shower. Very comfortable beds and quiet nights sleep. The staff were very polite and attentive. Breakfast was pleasant and satisfying.

I visited last week on a short trip to London. The hotel has a very good location with underground stations very close by like Pimlico and Victoria. The price was reasonable, I wouldn't say cheap but it is London after all so taking that into consideration it was fair. The staff were very polite and attentive. Both bedroom and bathroom... More

Currently has work going on in hotel which we weren't made aware of at time of booking. However, room was very good (if a little cramped) with a double and two single beds. Very modern decor. Great shower. Very comfortable beds and quiet nights sleep. Excellent value and hopefully it will stay at the price we paid when all work... More

This hotel has a good location when arriving into Victoria train/coach station. My room was in the basement and was recently decorated. The en suite was very nice with a really nice shower. They are in the process of decorating so there were carpets missing and people painting but not overnight! so no noise. My room could have done with... More

I liked the fact that the hotel was located so close to the Victoria station that I could walk there with my suitcase and didn't have to spend any monies on the transport. I arrived quite late at night, was given the key at the reception and then the realisation striked that this B&B/Hotel doesn't have an elevator. I'm not... More

Visited here with my partner for a day use room..glad we didn't stay the night as it was very cold and very small! The shower stopped working whilst my partner was mid shower and after going to visit reception myself to tell them about the issue, it took at least 10 minutes for them to come and fix it whilst... Very close to the coach station and easy to find. Staff are very friendly and welcoming. I stayed at 5th floor. Although there was no lift, hotel staff helped me out to bring up and down my luggage. I would like to stay here again in my next trip to London.

We missed an electricitypoint near a mirror. The breakfast was poor and not much variety. They could hang some paintings in the breakfastroom to make it a little more friendly. Stains in the bed sheets. Renovation is still going on. Hopefully it will be better after the renovation.

Heating facilities were bad. Tried several methods but did not work. Extra duvet should have been provided. Pillows were only two. Also another issue was too much noise from outside the door could not sleep in comfort.

Staying in Pimlico

Neighborhood Profile
Pimlico
Time spent in Pimlico is a slower-paced affair than most other Central London neighborhoods. This largely residential area orderly arranged beside the Thames, is a treasure trove of quaint pubs, subtle architectural charms and local boutiques. Here, art lovers thrill at the chance to visit the world class Tate Britain gallery for its collection of British art from the 1500s to the present. For peace and quiet and some downtime spent along the Thames, Pimlico is highly recommended.
