Well I guess you get what you pay for and £70 for one night with continental breakfast thrown in is probably cheap for central London. Our room contained a double and a single bed across a wall that really only had room for a decent sized double bed. The bathroom - well you'd be pushed to swing a really small... More

We got matched with this hotel through priceline. The staff at the Airways hotel was quite friendly. They were very prompt to offer help in carrying our luggage to our rooms as there is no elevator. They also were flexible in helping us with our room arrangements. Generally, the hotel was a little bit rough around the edges, could use... More

On a recent trip to London, my sister and I stayed in a twin room. The staff was knowledgeable and friendly. The location couldn't have been better-just a few blocks to the tube, buses, and a multitude of restaurants. The stops for buses or trains from all the airports are just a few blocks away-very convenient when traveling with suitcases.... More

The Airways Hotel occupies a once grand 6 storey Victorian terraced house in a quiet location between Victoria and Pimlico. The location is good for Victoria bus station (5 minutes walk), Victoria Station (6 mins), Pimlico (similar) and Westminster. Within a 5 minute walk are many eateries, pubs, bars, restaurants, fast food vendors and shops. with larger selections well within... More

Hotel well located, central London, near a tube station, coach station and train station. Bed is very comfortable and warm. It is january, cold winter and I did not feel cold at all. The duvet and sheets were clean and comfy. The bathroom size is not good, the water is hot and the pressure is very good, however, if you... More

The hotel is really well located (2 blocks from Victoria Station), and I thought the neighborhood was clean and safe. Bedrooms and bathrooms are very clean, and breakfast (although not that great) is included. Staff is also very helpful, and the price is fair. The only negative aspect is the lack of a lift, but they helped me with my... More

Good location. Bathrooms were clean. 24 h reception. Breakfast was OK, but food hygiene rate was only 3! Some money was frozen in my account, and on arrival I had to pay the hotel fee again. The frozen fee was released a few hours after the actual payment. So basically I had to have twice of the actual amount in... More

The Airways Hotel is just 5 minutes walk from Victoria Coach Station and close to tube station. Our room was small but adequate and clean though the pillows were really unfomfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. I wouldn't stay there again as we had an issue with payment. Firstly we assumed we were paying our bill in British Pounds... More

The room was very small. The staff were very helpful. Breakfast room was very small. The hotel was very clean and tidy. Would stay again but perhaps only for 1night. Would recommend it to friends and family. The coffee machine did not work only let you have half a cup!!

Staying in Pimlico

Neighborhood Profile
Pimlico
Time spent in Pimlico is a slower-paced affair than most other Central London neighborhoods. This largely residential area orderly arranged beside the Thames, is a treasure trove of quaint pubs, subtle architectural charms and local boutiques. Here, art lovers thrill at the chance to visit the world class Tate Britain gallery for its collection of British art from the 1500s to the present. For peace and quiet and some downtime spent along the Thames, Pimlico is highly recommended.
