We booked for a family room. The room was located on the second floor. It was undergoing renovation. We found the windows latch didn't work. The bathroom door latch was not installed. The television was left on the table apparently the wall mounting hasn't been fixed. The room smelled of fresh paint. The window blind came off from its mounting.... More

Shower head's fixture to wall was broken. Shower water outlet was blocked, Shower drain was full of water before we arrived surely people should check these things or do they just not care. The carpet floor near bathroom was wet. I asked hotel for something to unblock pipe, They gave me somthing but it did not work. When ever we... More

Think it'll be comically bad? No just terrible. Literally the worst place I've ever stayed in the world. When I arrived I was shown to a room with paint peeling of the walls and mould everywhere. I was then informed I'd been given a room which wasn't ready and I'd spend the first night in another hotel. But why had... More

Stayed for one night at this so called hotel. Reserved it through booking.com for £90 but when we got there the receptionist said it was £108 cause I was paying by visa debit! Anyway, got to our family room and it was tiny, one double and 3 single beds squashed in. Our windows didn't lock and there was scaffolding outside... More

Filthy, moldy, small and broken down! Never been in a worse place in London! Realized what was coming when the receptionist guy told us our room was just outside, and down the stairs. Being 3 men we joked about our stay here where everything is wrong, from the "decor" to being woken up early in the morning by workers on... More

I booked a four persons private room. The room was very well maintained. It had all the basic things like microwave, tv, small fridge, water kettle. The hotel allows you to keep your luggage before and after check in/out. It is located near to Earl's Court underground station and few major attraction like natural history museum are at walking distance... More

This hotel is dirty and full of mold! My friend and I stayed here and felt terrible. The room is dirty and full of mold and the service is terrible! We confronted the night manager about the condition of our room and he said sorry there is nothing I can do. Save yourself and book somewhere else! the price is... More

It's near earl's court underground. I was woken in the night by the sound of a mouse eating through our loaf of bread. That's probably enough said. Couldn't wait to get out and back into a hostel. There was mould and water damage everywhere. A fork, spoon and plate for a couple. We were desperate for a place to stay... More

I absolutely loved this place. Of course, I wasn't expecting much for that incredibly low price in central London, but it actually surprised me that they had a vey good working flat tv, a microwave and jar to boil water. It wasn't a very clean space, but you can clean it yourself. But I tried not to focus on that... More

Whole room was small, dirty, unworking fridge, cold water and muld everywhere. Room was terribly hot and smelly. No dishes as advertised. Really small room for 4 people, not enough even for 2. One cover for 2 people, dirty and smelly bedsheet. Worst stay ever.

Staying in South Kensington

Neighborhood Profile
South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.
