I chose this hotel because of the price and as the saying goes you get what you pay for. that said the room was clean and very nice it had everything you needed, fridge, kettle, ironing board, tea coffees etc. I stayed two days Wednesday and Thursday nights in room two on here you will see that some people moan... This is a great b and b for a short stay, bathrooms are all shared but the rooms are very clean and well presented. The owners are helpful and friendly with a good cooked breakfast, my only complaint was that there was a lot of noise from the traffic in the morning as the windows are not double glazed.

My biggest disappointment was the over the 5 day stay was I only got a hot shower twice. Two of the days the water was freezing cold. The location is great for getting to Camden. The room also smelt though someone had been smoking in it (despite the no smoking signs).

The hotel was absolutely great. The one thing I would add would be private bathrooms. Apart from that, the staff is really kind and helpfully, you can leave your bags with them on the last day if you want to still wander around, the cleanliness and comfort are exactly right, and the prices could not be better! Totally recommend it

Have to agree with many of the reviews already left. The Castle Bar isn't the Ritz by any means but it is cheap, ideally located for Central London and spotlessly clean. Me and the Old man were down at the weekend for a gig at The Forum which is only a 10 minute walk. The nearest tube is Caldonian Rd... More

The entrance and hall-way have a hostel feel to them but the room was lovely, bathroom facilities very nice and clean - most importantly the staff were really friendly and the breakfast was awesome. We picked this place purely based on its proximity to The Forum in Kentish Town and its price and we were really pleasantly surprised.

I stayed here with my son for a trip to see an Arsenal match.I was worried that for such a cheap price it would be hovel but I was pleasantly surprised. Although it clearly needs a makeover,it was very clean and the room was very spacious and even came with tea/coffee making facilities and a decent t.v. One major minus... More

We chose this bed and breakfast since it was close to the main convention site (I was visiting London Anime Con at the Rocket Complex) in Holloway Rd. Beds are really comfortable and rooms are spaceous. There is a bathroom on each floor, so it's shared facilities, but myself and my mother wasn't bothered about that. Very clean and the... More

Stayed here a few times now - it's just by my office so it's handy for the xmas do, etc. It's a fairly rough and ready pub with rooms. It's not finished and furnished to any exacting standard, but it has comfy clean beds, a pretty good shower, and a nice breakfast. About all you need unless you want to... More
