It is tough to beat this hotels location and the warm welcome received from the doorman (a Scottish upbeat fellow) who quickly handled our luggage and was always with a hearty good morning and smile for all guests. In general the concierge was OK, not 5 star but decent enough. The rooms are OK for a single traveler but start... More

We spent one night at the hotel, during a two-day stay of sightseeing in London. It was a celebratory occasion so we wanted something special, and we got it. The hotel is just wonderful. We had two Superior rooms (one King, one Twin). Although the rooms are not huge, every tiny little space has been used, and finished, to a... More

Wonderful service, rooms are spacious and modern. Shower is fantastic! Beds are very comfortable. We added the breakfast option and I definitely recommend. It's a fantastic way to start off the day, very large selection of food items. We are runners, so the proximity to St. James park was ideal in the mornings for a run- and the hotel has... More

Prime location for sightseeing, wonderful to walk around to many major attractions, very nice room (very conducive to a good nights sleep) and public areas, good service throughout except the concierge (who was not able to book a visit to Buckingham palace, albeit on a short notice, or call a cab that would not be a famous black one). Too... More

The Intercontinental has become my hotel of choice in London, provided the rates are reasonable, as on certain dates even the lowest rooms can be several hundreds of pounds and then I might look for a better deal elsewhere. The staff at the hotel are great, the concierge and door team are always helpful and smiling and I've always been... More

We stayed here for the Born Free Foundation 30th anniversary. The staff were excellent and the room very clean. The hotel is conveniently located across the street from an underground station. The buffet breakfast has a wide selection and is delicious!

Came here for afternoon tea on a Saturday. Arrived at 16:40 seated and ordered by 16:50 then waited for 25 minutes for sandwiches and scones! Tea and cakes arrived another 20 minutes after the sandwiches were finished! The offer was unlimited champagne ! Well we got two glasses!!!! Not that we wanted bottles of the stuff but glasses were left... More

My wife and I came to London to celebrate our 1st wedding anniversary. I had read a lot of positive reviews about this hotel and decided to book. We arrived at 2:50 (10 minutes before check in) and because our room wasn't ready we were upgraded free of charge to a suit (normally £650+). The staff are we're very friendly,... More

OK, let's start by saying that I was upgraded to an exec room, but I have to say it was a fantastic room by any standards, especially in London. Spacious, spotless, fantastically decorated, luxurious, huge bathroom with enormous walk-in shower; faultless. Not cheap, but not in any way comparable with my experience of cheap hotels in London either. Staff were... More

Lovely as usual , but personally much prefer the Park Lane Intercontinental. If you are are club lounge user then the one there is far superior. The Westminster club lounge seemed to lack that "vibe" . It has no views and the several times I went in there I was only one of 2 or 3 guests, even the evening... More
