While this hotel was probably not the most holiday central of residences, it was as central to the tube as we could have hoped. The rooms are well proportioned and fresh from renovation with all the necessary extras. The staff here were wonderful and helpful. I would say that there could be more air conditioning in the rooms as we... More

Visited this place with another couple on a weekend during the school holidays. The staff: excellent, professional and friendly! The room: clean, spacious and comfortable with a good shower and a fan. The price: very reasonable and excellent for this part of the city. The location: struggled a bit for a beer on the Saturday night as this place is... More

Only a few steps from Bank or Cannon Street tube station. The hotel is down a walk way so very little traffic noise. There is a sainsburys and M&S nearby for snacks or breakfast stuff if you don't want to eat out. The Tower of London is within walking distance as is the Thames. A lovely hotel, not masses of... Overall exactly what you would expect from a Travelodge. Clean room, all the stuff you need, everything has a purpose, nothing is just fancy crap for extra money. With this particular stay, though, I'd like to point out a few things that were a bit weird. Note that these are just the observations of one person, and you most likely... More

This hotel is excellent for a base in the city BUT at weekend there are no facilities to eat close by mespecially on the Sunday. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful especially a young lady named Vanessa who helped us to transfer to a larger room. The only drawback is the lack of air conditioning and the extractor fans not... I stayed with a friend a week ago, and well... i can say that everything was fine, even though i'd like to have the aircon but apparently almost all travelodge don't have it... the room was clean, the bed comfy... a particular thanks to the night receptionist (sorry i don't remember the name, dark haired, italian, robert? albert?) he saw... An excellent Travelodge. We were warmly greeted by the reception staff. The rooms were excellent, just what you expect of Travelodge. No real downsides at all. The only thing to note, is it is in the business district, and the bars get full really early and quickly. We went into a local bar at 5 and it was rammed. Also... More

We stayed in the Travelodge at Bank in July 2014 for 2 nights. The location was fantastic and not far from a lovely place called Leadenhall Market where there are a great mixture of pubs, restaurants & shops, and a Wetherspoons pub not far from the hotel which is great for a cheap brekkie or beer! The rooms were clean... More
