Nice hotel, handy to the tube and DLR. Room was tidy with comfy bed. I was running in the marathon on Sunday and luckily the hotel was very quiet on the Saturday so got a good nights sleep. However the hotel guests were noisy on the Friday so a bit more disturbed. The area closes after the Friday evening office... More

Couldn't fault this place. Clean,warm nice area and the staff were so obliging and helpful couldn't do enough for us 15 minutes from Tower of London on foot. 40 minutes to china town on foot From picadilly circus circus take number 23 bus to get you near hotel. If you arrive by tube go out exit 6 which is 2... More

We stayed for a Friday and Saturday night. Price was cheapest for somewhere this close to the centre of London. I can agree with a lot of the reviews on here, room was clean and comfortable but no thrills. Shower curtain leaks. City of London closes down at weekend so hard to find local eats and drinks, but does mean... More

I stayed here for 3 nights with my 12 year old son for his birthday. The location is fabulous, a 2 minute walk to 3 tube stations. It's easy to find if you find out exactly where it is first. I took some advice from a review on here which was to take exit 6 from Bank station and St... More

If you want to stay somewhere in the middle of everything in London; this is good, but not for a long stay. Bathroom is tiny, but the bed very comfy and warm. Overall it is OK but do not expect luxury;

The hotel is unwelcoming, drab and looks cheap and nasty from the entrance to the rooms. My room was absolutely tiny and had a single bed in it - I haven't slept in a single bed for about 30 years! I thought the staff were lovely but at £100 per night it was bad value for money and frankly I... More

This hotel was clean, well appointed and well maintained. It was also difficult to find. I had to have my room changed because next door have an air conditioning unit right outside my window. It was like a bus starting up. London was muggy and the window had to be opened to let air in, there was no air conditioning.... More

I have stayed in Travelodges across Britain, and generally speaking I'm not a big fan, as there are never enough pillows, the decor is shabby and there is a general feeling of dinginess. The great price is the only reason I booked this, and I expected to get what I paid for it. However the hotel was much better than... More

My husband and I stayed in this travel lodge for a long weekend in London. It is by far the worst we have stayed in, the room we had was very noisy so the staff were very helpful and moved us to a different one. We were moved to a room with a shower that leaked all over the floor... More
