We got a basement room (with furnitures from the flee market) in which evereything was terribly vibrated when a train passed below the building. It was possible to sleep only a few hours when no underground traffic was. I think that this room shouldn't be used as guest room for any payment. Next day we got another small room (for... More

My boyfriend and I had an amazing stay in Dolphin Hotel during five days. Considering how expensive everything is in London we made the best price for value choice: Next to Paddington tube station and 5 mins walk from Hyde Park this is what anyone would look for!The staff was very friendly, giving us advice for nice areas, restaurants and... London is super expensive so I am content with what I got with the last minute booking since I do not spend much time in there. The toilet was newly renovated so looks rather new and clean. But terribly small.

I stayed here with a large family party celebrating my son's 40th at a thrash in Leicester Square. The hotel is very clean and quiet but very basic, which is exactly what I expected for the price. We had two 6 bed rooms in the Lodge annex and, if you don't mind sharing, it makes for a really sociable time.... More

The hotel is good and clean and so is the Dolphin Inn annex. Staff are also good but 2 Italians living in the room thinks that they own the room and have the right to dictate how the new travellers should do or live.

Me and 3 mates stayed here last night after seeing The Stone Roses at Finsbury Park. Yes the place is a bit old and needs an update, but for £99 for the night (LESS THAN £25 EACH!!!!) you cannot complain! We were in room 282, the bedding was fresh, the room was clean and the bathroom was small but very... More

I recently stayed at the Dolphin Inn's annex, presently called the Lodge, with a group of high school students. It's a very simple hotel suitable for school groups and the like. The single room which I had as a leader was clean and had ensuite facilities but quite small. Walls are thin, so one can hear people coming in at... More

This is the worst establishment I have ever stayed at. The bed covers were soiled (brown, yellow, and red splotches - the full spectrum). But this pales in comparison with how soiled the attitude of the manager was. We paid for two beds, recieved only one, and were forced to spend the night in horrible dicomfort. Upon complaining in the... More
