Not a nice feeling to find out that, after hours of traveling and having booked the room 3 weeks in advance, you will sleep in the basement. The front manager's answer was "what is the problem with it sir? It's a room like the others". Speechless

My partner and I stayed at the Park Avenue over the Easter weekend for 2 nights. The only positive thing I can say is that the bed was comfortable. The room was very small, the bathroom even smaller. There was hardly anywhere to put anything and the shower was broken so we ended up having to hold it while we... More

A very acceptable stay, just a short walk from Victoria Station. Clean and large enough for a short stay, the staff were helpful. The web pictures reflect what we found. The continental breakfast was great and included in our £131 for Saturday night so good value for the capital. A slight minus, my wife found the lighting in the room... More

Let's start with the positive. The location is very central, only a 5 min walk from Victoria Station from where you can travel anywhere you like. The reception is open 24/7 which allows for convenience when arriving late or leaving very early. I booked a Club room which is slightly bigger than the other rooms, however they're in the basement... More

The location of this hotel is perfect, 5 minute walk from Victoria train and bus stations. The hotel is open 24 hours which is perfect if you're returning late from a show or night out. As others have mentioned, this hotel tends to double book. I was called at 9pm the night before I was due to be staying to... More

I stayed here for one night, the location is great for Victoria and the surrounding areas and the price was good, however, the walls / floors are not well sound proofed and there was continual talking from the room above. Bathroom door did not fit properly and the plug sockets were hanging out of the wall. Breakfast was good and... More

This hotel perfectly fulfilled our needs for 3 days sightseeing in the capital. It's location is extremely close to Victoria station around 5 minutes walk and around 10 minutes walk to Buckingham Palace. We didn't pay a premium London price and we didn't get a premium London hotel, the rooms are very small but comfortable and the bathroom modern. The... More

Good little hotel for business stays. Room and bathroom both refurbished. Breakfast was plain and simple (cereals, toast and drinks) but that's all I wanted and the breakfast room was light and airy. Location is great - only 5 mins walk from Victoria station yet in a quiet Belgravia street, with a good wine bar opposite the hotel and a... More

We were in and out of London through Victoria Station so we needed a close hotel to dump the bags (in) and leave the bags (out). We had 40 minutes to get back from Royal Albert Hall, collect our bags and get the train. This was the ticket; it's five minutes from the west exit of the station. The hotel... More
