I was very much looking forward to my stay at the central station hotel, after reading a few pleasant reviews. However, on arrival there really wasn't anything to look forward to. My room was next to an office, where a gentlemen kept me up all night, banging doors and making loud general noises, showing no respect to his guests trying... More

What a load of bull$hit. I did wonder how long it would take you to come bleating on here, not long it turns out. Why not give the real reason for this review. You office booked two rooms for a two night stay as you were working in London, you finished the job early and asked my business partner for... More

Stayed here at the weekend with friends.. We didn't arrive till 12pm and went out almost immediately into town so didn't use many of the facilities. But location was perfect. Although I did sleep in to receive a £135 parking ticket (no fault of hotel). Staff were very friendly and helpful. Definitely a nice little hotel for its price. If... More

Having a couple of hours to spare after a meeting and the train home I wanted some lunch which wasn't the normal train station fayre or McDonalds. I wandered up the road and found Central Station. Very welcoming, very clean and had a nice feel about the place. Good range of drinks and nice lunch menu. I had a burger... More

I've stayed here the last three times i've made the trip back down to London on business and I have to be hoenst, its pretty much spot on. The outside makes you a little bit wary - it is, after all, a hotel above a pub in Kings Cross. Ont eh way up to the rooms the staircase is a... More

Thank you for your kind comments. I have almost finished re-furbishing the rooms with new soundproofing, carpets, beds, lighting and furniture, (one room left to do next week) It gives me great pleasure that my efforts are appreciated and that you enjoyed your stays with us. I shall be tackling the staircase in the next coming weeks and I do... More

I spent two nights in this hotel during a weekend in London. This is a nice small budget hotel in a very old building located near King's Cross. The hotel is located on the floors above the bar with the same name and owners. The hotel has no separate front desk, and check-in is done by the bar on the... More

I stayed here on business in December, and found the prices very reasonable, given its close proximity to Kings Cross. The room was small but comfortable, I slept well (they included earplugs, but I didn't need them!) The only complaint I had was that a very odd woman was in the bar area and felt inclined to tell me that... More

Place needs a good makeover and to re evaluate some of the staff! Felt that a manager made me feel very uncomfortable and he was new! But for location it's perfect, bathroom but dodgy and my breakfast could do with a little bit more love! Club was a little loud late at night and was abit difficult to sleep.

Firstly my apologies for not replying earlier, I've only just seen this review. Calling my home rancid is a very unkind thing to say. I'm sorry that a member of staff made you feel uncomfortable but then he was new to the job and was probably nervous, like most of us when starting a new job. We are only human... More

based on the price this is a horrible hotel, rundown with bad service. ive seen many backpackers in better states with better service. the only good side is the location so you can spend as less time here as possible.

The place isn't run down or horrible, it is also my home! how rude of you. We are continously working on improving the building and our facilities. I honestly don't know what you mean by bad service, my staff are always being praised for their friendliness and will go out of their way to help as will I. All our... More

We arrived to the hotel around 10am with their doors completely closed and locked with a simple note saying they will open at noon. No phone numbers or bells to be seen. We were forced to tow our luggage to the nearest hotel- Premier Inn- which had much better service albeit for a higher price. They even charged us for... More

This guest made a reservation via booking.com. It clearly states that our check in time is from 2 pm onward. There was no mention on the booking form of their early arrival just a request for a room on the upper floor. The guest says he arrived at 10 am a full four hours before check in time and also... i seldom review accommodation i stay i,n due to the amount of hotels i need to stay in due to my work, as a contractor you move around a lot of places and tend to find each faceless corporate chain blends into another.
