Great location walking distance to a lot of what London has to offer, plus good public transport links. Nice and clean rooms, good food in the pub & close by and beer. What more does a backpacker need??

I had some reservations about staying above a pub, but the location was fantastic being right near Paddington Station and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The room was clean and the bathrooms/showers were not too bad. The breakfast was free and it was pretty tasty. I would recommend staying here. Good value.

Great location, very near Paddington station. Stayed as a couple in the only double room with private bathroom. Only negative was the bathroom was not an en suite but a separate locked room next door. The bathroom did not feel very clean but the bedroom was clean. Good value. Good heating. A lovely free breadfast was included and you get... More

Had a great time here at The Pride during a week-long stay in London. Rooms are clean and full of any amenities you could need, including luggage storage, outlets, and some of the rooms even have an electric kettle, microwave, and a full screen tv! Bathrooms were just fine for a communal setting. You get a key code for the... More

Stayed for three nights when over for an NFL game, went with friends and was looking for cheap and cheerful. Right next to the Paddington tube station and several restaurants. Safe location in a nice area but not many late bars around so would require taxis if heading for drinks past the tube hours (midnight usually). Good value and very... More

My daughter and I did not stay here but decided on this pub for dinner. So glad we did! My daughter had the fish and chips which she raved with a pint of cider and I ordered the steak and ale pie with a glass of red wine. The pie came with what looked like a big Yorkshire on top.... More

The greatest hostel in London! Is the nexus of the hostels. Good price and great service! The price includes full breakfast. Staff very welcoming. You got plenty of space in the rooms. And the bag that they have for your sheets is that kind of things that make the difference. Like the nice smell of them and the corridors. Someone... More

The check in for the hostel was at the bar, which could be an inconvenience if the bar is busy. The bunk beds were in slight disrepair. They were cheap aluminum frames that had been rusted through in a few spots. You had to put a deposit down for the linens. The bar food was good and they included breakfast... More

On 16th August I brought my wife and two friends to this pub because I have been here before and have always been happy with the beer and food served. I recomended the Beef and Ale Pie as this has been very good in the past, so we ordered four pies. What we were served with were not pies but... More

The Pride of Paddington is the perfect option for solo travellers. A 5 minute walk away from Paddington station, it is definitely well connected to Heathrow through the 15min Heathrow express train to Paddington. The area is bustling with people all through the day. A good deal of fast food (American fast food brands) joints dot the streets giving you... More
