The check in for the hostel was at the bar, which could be an inconvenience if the bar is busy. The bunk beds were in slight disrepair. They were cheap aluminum frames that had been rusted through in a few spots. You had to put a deposit down for the linens. The bar food was good and they included breakfast... More

On 16th August I brought my wife and two friends to this pub because I have been here before and have always been happy with the beer and food served. I recomended the Beef and Ale Pie as this has been very good in the past, so we ordered four pies. What we were served with were not pies but... More

The Pride of Paddington is the perfect option for solo travellers. A 5 minute walk away from Paddington station, it is definitely well connected to Heathrow through the 15min Heathrow express train to Paddington. The area is bustling with people all through the day. A good deal of fast food (American fast food brands) joints dot the streets giving you... More

Often drop by in this place for whenever my journeys take me through Paddington. Good pints, good food, breakfast lunch and dinner menu, pleasant and friendly with cheerful helpful staff. Others have commented, correctly, that the prices for food are slightly more than you'd expect, even considering it's London. But then, overall, and all things considered, I don't think you... More

Convenient for Paddington, and a good selection of well kept beers. Good food as well, but seems expensive for what it is, i.e. normal burgers, steaks chips etc.. Certainly passable, and expect I will go back, not sure how it fairs as a hotel as only there for an evening.

We didn't stay here but we did frequent here for food and drinks. The staff were friendly and the pints and food were top notch. The big daddy breakfast would really set you up for the day and anyone that has that will be happy.

I was quite impressed when I stayed here with a few friends, the hostel was clean, the staff were friendly and the free breakfast was the best I've had in a long time. There were a few smaller issues I found: - The dorm beds were cheap metal bunk beds, you could feel every movement from the person on the... More

I've stayed in a few hostels so far, this one was one of the best. It has a great conection to the metro station. The pub is a great place to hang around if you want a night off. It's crowded and the breakfest is very good. The rooms are clean and have enough space. The bathrooms are nost really... More

I anticipated staying over a pub would be noisy but I didn't realize laying in bed would feel like I was reclining in the middle of the bar. The music and singing did finish just after midnight so as long as you are prepared to be awake until then you won't have too much of an issue. Also, be aware... More

Just opposite Paddington Station. Good food and lovely atmosphere. I ALWAYS head here beofre my train back to Bristol from London. The bar is always busy, but good service and waits are rare. Good food until late and a good choice of beers etc.
