My wife and I turned up at this hotel for my wifes birthday, we were asked to look at a room to see if we were happy with it, the room had just been painted and the paint was still tacky, after being in the room for 5 minutes I got a bad headache from the fumes, we were offered... More

This hotel would make Basil Fawlty blush. My sister and I arrived in the morning hoping to drop off our luggage, only to be told that this would not be possible and to come back at 3 pm. The room was dingy, with the carpets threadbare and stained in places and the furniture was broken. We actually found used chewing... More

On arrival I was greeted in reception by a friendly lady who asked if I wanted to see my room before I paid for it...With hindsight I should have realised there was something a miss. My room was small dingy and dark, TV did not work it and couldn't fully open bathroom door cause of the bed being in the... More

Do not stay at this hotel it is disgusting!! It looks and feels like a war hospital from the 1800's. Filthy carpets with filthy mats covering up the worst parts. There was only one light bulb to light up a large room so could barely see what we we're doing. No duvets on beds (just sheets which isn't acceptable in... More

I'm sitting here at 3am writing this review as I'm unable to sleep in this smelly, mouldy room with a very uncomfortable bed covered with bugs. I had 3 nights booked but I've just gone to reception to complain and request a refund for the following 2 nights. I plan on leaving in the next few hours and never returning.... More

Staying in Bloomsbury

Neighborhood Profile
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
