Dirty, run down, shocking bed linen, curtains that didn't meet, no toilet roll, dirty bathrooms, metal beds straight out of the "Great Escape" or "Colditz". Avoid. I am never going back no matter what price.

I stay regularly in London, and to keep expenses down I sometimes go cheap. I booked two nights at this "hotel" as it was close to my work - I only lasted one, preferring to forfeit the money rather than spend another moment in this dirty, noisy, smelly slum. If you do think you are saving money by booking it,... More

When you paying over £100 for anywhere you expect the little things to make your stay comfortable. What we got for our money was a double bed, clean sheets & towels. We also got a dirty bedspread, no shower curtain, no breakfast, no extra pillows, no tea or coffee facilities, a hallway light to bedroom down three steps, with no... More

What a dump... Old, smelly, noisy, dirty hotel. You can hear everything through walls, beds are uncomfortable. Everything is broken, shabby or just really old. But, only one good thing about this place is the location of it, which is pretty good, everywhere is a walking distance, especially if you have enough time.

Staying in Bloomsbury

Neighborhood Profile
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
