We were a couple staying there for 3 nights. My girlfriend have been bitten 2 nights in a row. On the first night we believed it was an allergy, but after the second night, the pharmacist told us it was definetly bedbugs. I then checked the bed and indeed find some bedbugs in it. We changed of room. The new... More

I was very excited at the prospect of staying at this place again. Sadly its been a terrible let down. The room is old, badly furnished and the shower was not very clean when I arrived. I had to request the nice lady at the reception to clean it. She was very helpful I must say. I have to stay... More

Set in the center of activity near where High Street meets Church St., but set back just off the main road so that you can feel some peace and privacy. Easy two block walk to Kensington High St Station. We have stayed here before in both the apartment and the small room with a kitchen. You usually need to book... More

Returned to 51 Kensington Court after 4 years away and found it continues to be a best bet for anyone wanting an apartment-hotel in London at a reasonable price. Location just off Kensington High Street offers great access to the Underground and Kensington Park. Easy shopping for food within a few minutes walk (Marks and Spencer Food Hall and Whole... More

The sff at this hotel were outstanding. However the building needed some work. Supficiaally the hotel looks magnificent ; as does the room. However as with many English hotels the plumbing is not up to standard. I found the shower to be far too small for me; there is no way you could bend down to wash your feet for... More

It was a beautiful apartment, Very spacious and good facilities. Fresh milk and tea, coffee and biscuits was a nice touch. All in all a lovely place to stay, only a couple of whines one being children in the upstairs apartment running round at 6am and in the spare bedding for the sofa bed had a couple of long curly... This was my second visit in 4 years to Kensington Court and after a few problems the first couple of days, we ended up having a good stay and everything worked out well. A few things to address some of the bad reviews on here...... We originally booked a studio, after having stayed in the 1 bedroom on our first... More

We booked four nights at 51 Kensington Court/Luxury Serviced apartments based on great reviews and a stellar website (http://www.kensingtoncourt.co.uk). From the pictures, presentation, and cost, we were expecting a livable, modern, clean, and well kept flat. What we saw was a glorified youth hostel, unkept, small, and decrepit. It was actually shocking the disparity between the website and the reality... More

The room was so small but the bathroom was nice. We were there for 2 nights and it was a good stay. The front desk staff(only 1 person) leaves promtly at 5:00pm. The wifi is not the best and I had a difficult time staying connected. The hotel is very well located and easy to get to all the great... More

We stayed for a week in apartment no. 5. During that week the wifi worked less than half the time. Reporting this to the staff did not improve the situation. The "bedroom" was just big enough for the bed, with a foot on either side. The rooms were dark, the view of rooftop ventilation systems. The bathroom was very small... More

Staying in South Kensington

Neighborhood Profile
South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.
