Had a business meeting in their Isis lounge, perfectly located round the corner from Tower Hill tube station. The interior was impressive and layout allowed options for relative amounts of privacy (even with people on the next table they weren't noticeable) The staff could have been a bit better, weren't present when we wanted drinks then when we finally got... Excellent location for meetings in the city and going out to dinner. The room was very small, bathroom the same. The key card was not working properly, most of the times I had to use it 4-5 times to open the door.

We stayed for a 2-night break in London and this was a really good choice. Location of the hotel is excellent - right next to Tower Hill tube station which made commuting around very easy. It's a fab place to explore the Tower Hill area and South Bank; we did miles walking to the Shard and into the City. We... More

Staff and facilities are excellent. A good position for a sight seeing trip to London. It was convenient for Tower Hill Tube Station and I was able to leave my luggage for the day. I would recommend this hotel without hesitation to anyone wanting to visit London for a few days.

Well i never actually got to go, as i wanted to rebook they say you have to give a full day notice i gave 32 hours notice. I was told by two managers there that i could rebook. I then was told conflicting info by another manager there was a fee which for the overall stay was half the original... More

Stayed here for a weekend in London - got a great price through Last Minute. Friendly and helpful staff - wanted to leave bags much earlier in day and they were very happy to help. Room was large, clean with little balcony. Bed very comfortable with nightly turn down service. Only gripe would be cleanliness in the corridors - another... More

I have to say that this isn't the easiest hotel to find in the whole of London, however it is certainly worth the effort. Our school prom was unfortunately thrown into chaos with the tube strike, however the staff were most helpful and kind when events took a turn for the worse. We were supposed to start at 6pm and... All in all, it was a nice stay. Staffs were always in reach when needed and were really helpful. I like the location most of all. When you come out of Tower Hill station. It is just right there in several steps. It is not cheap hotel but it is worth the price. It's easy to get to the center.... More

Staying in City of London

Neighborhood Profile
City of London
From its ancient past as a Roman trading outpost to its 21st century status as the wealthiest square mile in the world, the financial district known simply as “The City” is one of London's most historic and fascinating neighborhoods. Here high rise office towers such as Norman Foster’s Gherkin mingle with Roman ruins and architectural marvels from virtually every era in between, including Christopher Wren's glorious St.Paul's Cathedral, and John Soane's dauntingly classicist Bank of England. This neighborhood is also home to some of the finest restaurants and plushest hotels in Europe, in addition to an assortment of watering holes, upscale shops, and Tube stations. During the week, the City is abuzz with white collar workers going about their business; the weekend sees this area turn into a quiet haven for sightseers.
