I stay in London on a regular basis for business and normally stay at another hotel near Tower Bridge but I received an offer for the Grange City and I now understand why it was discounted as the room was without doubt the smallest one I have every stayed at in London. How they can call it a double room... More

We went for one night and found the room to be very spacious and comfortable and clean. The staff were polite. The room had sky sport at no additional cost (may be important to some!) Right next to Tower Hill tube station with lots of tourist attractions on the door step. We stayed on a Sunday night and found the... More

Stayed at the Grange City hotel again after having stayed previously at some of the newer hotels in the close neighbourhood. The rooms, especially when comparing to more modern hotels, are close to needing refurbishment. The carpets evidently spread an odour that necessarily is not fresh, the aircondition is very loud and the bathroom has its old tap for shower.... More

I stayed here for one night recently - right beside Tower Hill station which is a real bonus when staying in London & especially as I was a solo traveller. Very welcoming when you arrive - reception area well laid out and very accommodating staff. Rooms very good - nicely laid out. I did not use any other services in... More

Stayed on business. Great location overlooking The Tower and The Shard. Was upgraded to a room on 11th floor with fab views . Room 1101. Nice comfy bed and good robe and toiletries. Nice breakfast too. Good value and would recommend.

Stayed here for a work trip recently. A colleague had stayed there before. Rooms were spacious enough for 1 person, plenty of cupboard space. I found beds comfortable, nice assortment of pillows (I take my own - but theirs were good). Laundry service was very good, although a little pricey. Tower tube station is just down the road which makes... More

This hotel is a wonderful professional establishment, with clean and spacious rooms as one would expect. All usual facilities are catered for, drink's making, iron and such like. All the staff were helpful and polite throughout our stay.

My husband and I stayed at this hotel last weekend and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We found staff to be very friendly and professional. Our room was spacious and quiet with wonderful views. Breakfast was very good. The hotel is in a great location, next to the Tower Hill tube station. We are looking forward to returning soon.

Staying in City of London

Neighborhood Profile
City of London
From its ancient past as a Roman trading outpost to its 21st century status as the wealthiest square mile in the world, the financial district known simply as “The City” is one of London's most historic and fascinating neighborhoods. Here high rise office towers such as Norman Foster’s Gherkin mingle with Roman ruins and architectural marvels from virtually every era in between, including Christopher Wren's glorious St.Paul's Cathedral, and John Soane's dauntingly classicist Bank of England. This neighborhood is also home to some of the finest restaurants and plushest hotels in Europe, in addition to an assortment of of watering holes, upscale shops, and Tube stations. During the week, the City is abuzz with white collar workers going about their business; the weekend sees this area turn into a quiet haven for sightseers.
