We got a good deal for this hotel via Secret Escapes and it was an excellent base for food and drinks in central london and heading to watch Kate Bush. The hotel is a couple of minutes from Bank station and its hub of connections to numerous tube lines. 10 minutes walk and you're over London Bridge to The Shard... More

This is a fabulous location, right beside the Bank of England and Bank Tube, you can walk to London Bridge, to St. Paul's Cathedral, it is easy to reach from the Tube. There are good cafes and restaurants and pubs everywhere. Strongly recommend Le Relais de Venise across street around corner for steak and fries and a glass of red.... More

This is a great place for a hotel. The building is very impressive and it is actually in a great location, near to Tube and Bus routes but obviously in the City which is quieter at weekends. Room was typical boutique style, very comfortable and, once we had worked out the air conditioning, very comfortable. There is a "small seating... More

I travel to London a lot, and I usually stay more toward Mayfair, Hyde Park, etc. but this time found Threadneedles - right in the heart of the City. So very bustling during the week but super quiet on the weekend. The room was quite large for London standards - very clean, modern, with nice amenities. Very nice lobby where... More

We had a wonderful stay here. The staff couldn't have been more helpful. Loved the glass of fizz on arrival, the turndown service and breakfast! It may be quiet around the area during weekends but the tube is less that a minutes walk away. It was lovely to return after a busy day and night to the peaceful surroundings of... More

On our way from Scotland to NYC, we "overnighted" in London at Threadneedles on August 8 and was upgraded to the epic Shackleton Suite, which is unfortunately near to the elevators and so we can hear other noisy hotel guests talking loudly late at night. It is our second stay at Threadneedles since last April, and very helpful hotel reception... More

Dear wokntok Thank you for your feedback after your recent stay with us. I will certainly pass on your kind comments to David and the reception team. I am sorry that you found the breakfast supervisor a little officious, I am sure that was not her intention. I will certainly discuss your comments with the restaurant team to ensure that... More

We got this hotel on secret hotels and were delighted. It was our anniversary so the staff upgraded us, have us complimentary chocolates and gave us a late checkout. Staff were so polite and helpful. Loved the nespresso machines in the rooms and the big comfy bathrobes! Huge bed, lovely bathroom and so clean. Definitely recommend.

Room was lovely. Staff was very helpful in helping us try to trace my lost luggage. Its in business district but close to tube for easy transport around city. Fodd a little pricey but overall would recommend. We took heathrow express to city station and then took cab from there to save money. Supposedly you could transfer and take the... More

Having a couple of events to attend in London I took the opportunity to stay at this hotel. There was something about this hotel that just relaxed me from the getgo. Staff were efficient elegant and friendly. The room was beautifully appointed and comfortable. The reception, bar and restaurant were equally elegant and impressive. Normally I would not have contemplated... More

Myself and the current wife stayed here for a birthday weekend in Mid August. Although not in the centre of entertainment (west end) it is all easily accessible. Due to it being in the square mile, a good bargain can be had during the weekend !
