Lovely, quiet and comfortable hotel in the heart of London, just three minute walk from Bank Underground station. Tube to the West End in 10/15mins. Nice big beds but the *subdued* lighting verges on the "gloomy", especially when trying to apply makeup! The expression "Full English Breakfast" can be interpreted in different ways. In our case it was adequate; the... More

My partner and I were spending one night in London and found a great deal on this hotel a couple of months ago. We had booked a Queen double bedroom. Upon arrival (3min walk from Bank tube station) we found that we had been upgraded to a King Executive room! Reception staff were very courteous, and offered us still or... More

I stayed at the hotel for business in the City, the location could not have been better. The rooms are not huge, they are fine, although my room had a large bathroom. The staff were helpful albeit a little aloof. The hotel charged me twice for my staff which I noted on my credit card bill. I called them to... More

I've seen many five star hotels in London that really aren't worth the stars. This one defenitely is. It is elegant with beautiful rooms and tasty breakfast. Although situated in the Bank district it is a short way to the tube station to bring you anywhere you want to go. Those who appreciate quietness in the middle of London, I... More

A lovely building, friendly attentive, skilled staff who tried very hard to make our stay exceptional. Communal areas were very elegant but the price of drinks etc reflected their weekday clientele. Our room was clean and very comfortable but the bathroom 'although reflected past opulence' it was beginning to look a little tired. That said, we will certainly be returning... More

We only stayed one night, but we thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The employees were all very kind to us and the lobby was beautiful with the stained glass ceiling dome. Our room was large and had nice amenities like robe, coffee, and wifi. The location was not far from the Underground at all and was a fairly short walk to... More

The hotel is very well located, 2 minutes walk from Bank tube station. The City is very quiet at weekends but the proximity to the tube station means livelier parts of London are easy to get to. The rooms are well designed and there is a turndown service. The glass dome in the foyer is very impressive. This hotel was... More

Excellent value for a wonderful boutique hotel. Staff was very helpful and room was nice size. Only negative was the carpet had stains. One block from the Bank tube station and there is a bus stop on the same street. Great hotel if you need to be in the city

We got a good deal for this hotel via Secret Escapes and it was an excellent base for food and drinks in central london and heading to watch Kate Bush. The hotel is a couple of minutes from Bank station and its hub of connections to numerous tube lines. 10 minutes walk and you're over London Bridge to The Shard... More

This is a fabulous location, right beside the Bank of England and Bank Tube, you can walk to London Bridge, to St. Paul's Cathedral, it is easy to reach from the Tube. There are good cafes and restaurants and pubs everywhere. Strongly recommend Le Relais de Venise across street around corner for steak and fries and a glass of red.... More
