I stayed here for 5 nights with my 3 children whilst the eldest was attending a course at the nearby Royal Academy of Dance - hence it was a very convenient location. The hotel is basic but clean and comfortable. There are a couple of bus stops very close by making access to the city centre very easy. My only... More

Stayed for one night with a friend. Room was fine, clean and had all the basics. The shower gel provided was of course tiny. The nights sleep was not so good, it was a trade off between having the noisy desktop fan on to keep cool or opening the window to be woken by the sound of traffic. Ok for... More

Can't really fault this hotel given the reasonable (advance) rate, which was very good for London. The room is fine with ample space, nice bed, and tea/coffee making facilities. It does get hot but a portable fan was included. The reception is a bit basic, with queues around check-in time and there is no luggage facility in case you have... More

The hotel was nice and clean, but there was no hot water for the first two days so we had to have a cold shower. But the staff were nice and friendly and also I had a nice sleep. The area was a nice place, and the staff was there to help if we need it.

Despite the unfavourable reviews on here we were well-pleased with our recent stay. (five people, three rooms). Yes it was hot, too hot, and there was no air-con, but there was an effort to help with iced water at reception and a fan already in our room and on full blast. I don't expect air-con at the price I paid!... More

Blood stained duvet, hairs on bed sheet, poo stained towels, uncomfortably hot room with windows that barely open. Water too hot with pressure too low. Tatty carpet and dated tv. I know it's cheap but welcome to the ghetto. It would be difficult to find cheaper in London so close to the centre so work out what you need from... More

Ideal for our 4 day stay in London. Short bus trip to Clapham Junction (295 or C3) and use a tube app to get yourself into the city! We had 2 rooms (family of 5) and remembered to bring extension leads and fans for both (ESSENTIAL) as it was warm and not many plugs. Car park cost £5 for 24hrs... More
