The room was comfortable of average size but it was difficult to get any sleep due to the noise from the corridor and surrounding rooms. It was difficult to regulate the shower temperature I would have preferred a shower screen rather than a curtain.

Lovely friendly staff, nothing too much trouble and very informative. Couldn't have wished for a better base in the Capital. Even the slight rumbling of the underground didn't effect a good nights sleep :-)

stayed here for 2 nights on a business trip and could not fault anything. The location was perfect, my room was clean and comfortable - cooked breakfast was very good and staff were approachable and friendly.

Clean warm room, good shower with plenty of warm water. Very pleasant friendly helpful staff. Ideal location if you need to be near the railway statio, it was great location for me. Managed to walk to the Tower of London & Tower Bridge from the hotel in the morning, pleasant 20 min walk.

I stayed in this Travelodge for just the one night, it was perfect for my requirements as I needed to catch an early train out. Hotel was clean, the rooms were clean and very comfortable. Was just right for what I wanted.

I stayed here recently as I was going to the O2 arena for a comedy show. It was easy to get to Liverpool St Station from, although far enough away from the main road so it as nice and quiet. The room was clean and comfortable.

Travelodge is a standard hotel chain, not so expensive but with good services at a reasonable price. I've booked it for January and there was even a discount code to use that made me decide for it. Clean and comfortable, not all the services are in the room (ex: hair dryer) but you just need to ask to the reception... More

You could not get a better location or closer to Liverpool Street Station that here. We were only staying the one night so this was perfect for us. It's just exactly what all other Travelodge's provide, cheap and basic but ideal for a one or two night stay.

Staying in City of London

Neighborhood Profile
City of London
From its ancient past as a Roman trading outpost to its 21st century status as the wealthiest square mile in the world, the financial district known simply as “The City” is one of London's most historic and fascinating neighborhoods. Here high rise office towers such as Norman Foster’s Gherkin mingle with Roman ruins and architectural marvels from virtually every era in between, including Christopher Wren's glorious St.Paul's Cathedral, and John Soane's dauntingly classicist Bank of England. This neighborhood is also home to some of the finest restaurants and plushest hotels in Europe, in addition to an assortment of watering holes, upscale shops, and Tube stations. During the week, the City is abuzz with white collar workers going about their business; the weekend sees this area turn into a quiet haven for sightseers.
