Not a lot to say really, its a Travelodge in a great location in London. It has no real stand out features, the breakfast was fine, the bed was fine, the check in and out were all equally ok. If I had one issue it would be that there is no cooling on the rooms, there is a fan but... More

1st thought was "what am I doing in a hotel with no aircon with the weather so great!" Yes it was hot and yes it wasn't the best nights sleep but then if I'd been home it would have been much the same! 2 nice things here:- the fairly small dining area for dinner or breakfast on the 1st floor... Lovely friendly staff, booked us in early. Air conditioned bar. Fan in the room as it was extremely hot. Nice big family room. Of the London Travelodge hotels this is probably one of the best locationally. Right in the heart of the financial district and a short walk from Liverpool street where you can access all of London quickly. Breakfast... More

I came to this hotel after hearing negative comments and that's why I'm writing this. This hotel is basic but just what's needed for a business stay. Karrington on reception was helpful and tailored your needs. On a very hot day he offered ice if I was too hot, welcomed me and gave me the reception telephone number in case... More

A great place to stay for exploring London, definitely try the cafe next door for breakfast. The hotel was clean and comfortable. Would definitely return when travelling to London. Plenty of bars and restaurants nearby.

Great location clean room. Excellent staff and I mean excellent. Lady in bar to Kay in reception and to Reg who allowed us to leave our luggage in reception while we visited the sightS in London before going home. Well done the travelodge team at Harrow Place. You made our trip Juice

Stayed there for my business trip for a week and love the location there. Would love to stay there again for my next trip. It is located in the heart of finance area of London and not far from the important business places. Close to Liverpool Str. Station just 3 mins walk and 5 mins walk from Algate Station.

Have stayed here before, and once again it lived up to expectations. Rooms are very comfortable and we both slept soundly, staff are extremely pleasant and helpful and checking in and out was problem free. Only a 2 minute walk from Liverpool Street Station.

Staying in City of London

Neighborhood Profile
City of London
From its ancient past as a Roman trading outpost to its 21st century status as the wealthiest square mile in the world, the financial district known simply as “The City” is one of London's most historic and fascinating neighborhoods. Here high rise office towers such as Norman Foster’s Gherkin mingle with Roman ruins and architectural marvels from virtually every era in between, including Christopher Wren's glorious St.Paul's Cathedral, and John Soane's dauntingly classicist Bank of England. This neighborhood is also home to some of the finest restaurants and plushest hotels in Europe, in addition to an assortment of watering holes, upscale shops, and Tube stations. During the week, the City is abuzz with white collar workers going about their business; the weekend sees this area turn into a quiet haven for sightseers.
