Located close to Liverpool St Station and easy to walk to. Quiet location at night although a bit of noise in the morning (not enough to upset stay). Room was clean, comfortable and met our needs. Would stay there again!

My son and I were in London to attend an American Football game and decided to stay in this part of London as he works in the city occasionally. The hotel was good and clean and ideal for Liverpool Street station/tube and quick access to city centre delights

Stayed after a Christmas party. The room was comfortable and warm and the staff were very friendly asking if there was anything we needed (staff member - Pater). Ideal to stay at as just 5 minutes away from Liverpool Street station to get back home.

Having had the misfortune of being booked into other Travelodge's whilst on business when I was booked in here I expected the usual awful service and the only only 'extra' a plastic cup....However on check in the guy behind the counter was very pleasant and even cracked a joke (even though he was the only one who laughed!); my room... Arrived very late at night, easy to find and road was well lit. Room was warm and cosy with tea and coffee facilities. The pub was a stones throw away so had to close the window as it became noisy. Only took 8 minutes to walk from Liverpool Street station, this was great because I walked to the station and... More

Normally I am a big fan of low cost accommodation such as the Travel Lodge and after opting to choose the Travel Lodge to stay in for a Business Trip away instead of one of other hundreds of hotels in London I now regret my decision. My opinion has quickly changed on low cost accommodation after my recent stay in... More

Really friendly staff they were more than happy to help us when we had nowhere to leave our bags the day we had to checkout. Room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. Ideal location as it is less than a five minute walk to Liverpool Street Station which you can access all parts of London from.

Me and a few friends stayed here late November . Lovely modern travelodge. Staff friendly and helpful. We had breakfast included in the price and it was very good value for money- plenty variety and good quality, the service was excellent. Very good location - close to liverpool tube station, a huge array of pubs and restaurants closeby. Spitafield market... More

Staying in City of London

Neighborhood Profile
City of London
From its ancient past as a Roman trading outpost to its 21st century status as the wealthiest square mile in the world, the financial district known simply as “The City” is one of London's most historic and fascinating neighborhoods. Here high rise office towers such as Norman Foster’s Gherkin mingle with Roman ruins and architectural marvels from virtually every era in between, including Christopher Wren's glorious St.Paul's Cathedral, and John Soane's dauntingly classicist Bank of England. This neighborhood is also home to some of the finest restaurants and plushest hotels in Europe, in addition to an assortment of of watering holes, upscale shops, and Tube stations. During the week, the City is abuzz with white collar workers going about their business; the weekend sees this area turn into a quiet haven for sightseers.
