The hotel seemed to be in the process of being renovated. As we walked into one part to check in, and up some pretty dingy stairs, then crossed into the 'new' section of the hotel which was pretty nice. I know you get what you pay for, but this was a bit like a cheap, shabby boarding house or hostel. The hotel is situated near Paddington Station, from here in a few minutes you can get to the famous tourist attractions of London.
