The location near Great Portland Street tube and the close walking proximity to Oxford Street are the advantages of staying here. The rooms are tired and really do need an upgrade. The heating cannot be controlled as it is centrally heating and the air con system is for cooling only. The mattress was of poor to average quality. The pillows... More

I returned to the Holiday Inn Regents park and this time around it was a 10 day stay (as opposed to the 2 days stay previously). Continue to be impressed with the location / proximity to Oxford Street, Regent Street, Soho etc and tube stations. I was originally allocated a room on the 5th floor and when I complained about... Arrived early at 11:00 hoping to leave our luggage and go to the shops, were greeted with a smile, told a room was ready for us and although we hadn't booked directly they had recognised us as an IHG Rewards Club member and given us the extra membership benefits. The room was ideal, a comfortable bed, plenty of wardrobe and... More

Stayed in a twin room here for my friends birthday when we went to see a show nearby. Nice clean hotel. Friendly service. Great location. Reasonable price. If I could fault anything it would be although comfy the twin beds were sooooo close together we might as well have been sharing a double. Lol. Ideal for overnight stay in London... More

We had a two night stay, any interactions with the staff were positive. We didn't have breakfast so can't comment on that but there was a pret a manger close by along with a Tesco and Sainsburys. The room was fine, very quiet with no noise at all from the street nor in corridors at night. The only grumble was... More

This may not be the Intercontinental in Amman but it has a warmth of its own . I was greeted both warmly at reception and in the restaurant. Also I'm not the easiest being gluten free but the Sous Chef kindly came out to me after discussion with a lovely waitress & made me a beautifully tasting bespoke risotto with... More

The situation is the reason I chose this hotel. It is true the situation is great you are 10 min walk from Oxford street, and 4 min from 2 subway stations. The room in itself is ok. Clean but not exceptional for the price.. But the service is awful. 2 lift out of 4 were not working, the breakfast is... More

Good value for money. Ideally situated for most of the major attractions. Rooms good size and very clean. Staff friendly and helpful. Large NCP Carpark under the hotel. Food excellent and reasonably priced considering it's London, as are the drinks. Great place to stay if you're going for a weekend break to catch a show. Highly recommend the Big Red... More

This hotel was nice enough aesthetically, but there were quite a few issues. We asked a number of times for certain food items from room service and given something completely different. This happened nearly every night and was pretty frustrating. The towels also smelled really bad to the point where we had to go out and buy our own.

We stayed here recently for a leisure weekend and I agree with previous reviewers about the excellent location. Literally a 2 minute walk to the Great Portland Street tube station. I definitely do not agree with the 4 star rating this hotel is given but we only had a standard room so perhaps that is the difference. Our room was... More
