Stayed here for one night on New Years Eve and it was all we could have wanted and more. The location is fantastic and within walking distance to the shops and restaurants in Piccadilly/Oxford St/Bond St. Beautiful listed building and our room was absolutely lovely with unique decor and very clean. Iron, hairdryer, heater, tea and coffee facilities, minibar and... More

I'll be quick. We booked the Fox Club as we were having a first night in London away from the kids. The meant we were looking forward to the first lie-in in memory. When we arrived at 2:30pm our hearts sank. Right now there is a building site opposite - actually it's a demolition site. The drilling and pile-driving is... More

A cosy boutique hotel you would hardly know was there but inside is very definitely a wonderful home from home. Not for everyone - with lots of stairs and no lift but the room was worth the climb. Private, quiet and lots of space. Breakfast delicious and wonderful coffee and intelligent, helpful staff. Great experience and I'll be back.

The Fox Club is in a perfect location for a visit to London, whether for work or sightseeing. The staff are always friendly and welcoming. The rooms (individually styled) have all the amenities you need including gorgeous Molton Brown products. The bed was very comfortable and we found it quiet which is a real plus in the middle of a... Stayed here for 2 nights. Firstly on a positive note, the location is excellent, very close to Green Park tube. Unfortunately, there are major building works ongoing opposite. We were woken at 6am both mornings by this. Very noisy. The first room we were in was in the basement. Very dark, pretty grim. We moved to a room on the... More

Earlier reviewers were spot on. This was a real find, tucked away in a quiet side street just 200 yards from Green Park tube station. Quite a bit of history associated with the place too. We were greeted by Paolo, who could not have been more helpful. We'd booked on latebooking.com for an executive double for £120, room only which... More

First of all, I can't comment on the price since my wife paid for this as a birthday treat. This is a delightful small hotel, located right by Piccadilly, two minutes walk from The Ritz. We were upgraded to a suite which was excellent. Very roomy and comfortable and our room was surprisingly quiet for a Saturday night. Great place... More

Nice, personal and friendly service in a special "club" hotel in the middle of London. The central location makes the Club attractive when staying in London. The room was spicy and ok, bathroom modern and the stairs were steep (no elevator). Personnel in the bar were very welcoming and communicative and made the evening there worth spending some hours in... More

Had a great room after beeing upgraded. Things are easy around here: you're either in the standard rooms (which I also believe are good) or the executive rooms (and for one they are certainly a bit roomier). This is a private members' club, but they do offer rooms to non-members when rooms are available. Check-in is at the bar counter... More

I would highly recommend the Fox Club. We had afternoon tea and the staff were charming and attentive without being intrusive and made us feel like we were part of the family. If you are looking for an oasis of calm in central London you should definitely check out the Fox Club.

Staying in Mayfair

Neighborhood Profile
Mayfair
Set beside some of London's best parks and home to world-class galleries, luxurious hotels, and famed thoroughfares, the ultra upscale Mayfair is one of London's most exclusive haunts. Here the shopping is haute, the dining is exquisite, and the nightlife is vibrant. A casual stroll through the area’s chic streets will reveal that Michelin stars and chauffeured cars are practically the norm here. Even if you're on a tight budget, this exceptionally well connected swath of Central London is worth exploring, if only for the chance to take a peak at the goings on of upper crust English society.
