The Fox club Is a lovely place for afternoon tea. The restaurant is tastefully decorated and has a cosy feel. The food was of a good standard and plenty of it. We must thank Jenny who was such a lovely waitress and made us feel especially welcome. It is just off Piccadilly so very central for other attractions. We would recommend... More

Great experience in a cosy and genuine ambience. The location is close to Green Park tube station and easy to find, short travel time to major points of interest in central London. Perfect stay overnight!

The Fox Club ius a hidden gem in Mayfair - close to the park, The Fox Club has an old world charm, an excellent kitchen and offer great rooms at reasonable rates. In addition the staff are always welcoming and friendly. Many thanks.

Came to go to an event round the corner. Booked at short. Olive, possibly on a deal. Very welcoming. Comfy room, perhaps a bit small but entirely in keeping with this historically important Georgian home. Will come back. Intrigued by the membership deal but not yet sure that I would be able to make enough use to justify it.

The Fox Club was a last minute booking to accommodate an evening in London post theatre. The reception was welcoming and the staff friendly. Decor in the reception and public areas was a little tired in places, but clean and uncluttered. Seating in the bar area was limited, but sufficient for those taking their chosen libation. Rather uncomfortable hard chairs... More

I( have travelled to London regularly for 30 years, I hesitate to write this because the Fox Club has been my well kept secret for almost 20 of those years. Technically, it is a club - if you live in London. London clubs are unique. I'm not aware of anything like them anywhere else in the world. Originally created to... More

I never ate or drank in the bar so this review is solely based on the room and staff. Check in was quick and easy, felt like a B&B at first as you have to ring a bell to get into the building. Then the bar doubles as a reception desk, no problem! I was in room 2 and my... More

Given afternoon tea vouchers as a belated Christmas present, we were all delighted with a very warm welcome, very attentive Staff and an excellent afternoon tea. This is real value for money and a hidden gem in the west end.

I booked this as a last minute thing. I could not have been happier, the location in Mayfair is very convenient, the room I had on the top floor was very nicely furnished better than some 5 stars in the same area, a bit on the small side but more than adequate. For the price I think it is more... More

Stayed here on saturday night and had the top floor, Room 9 which was fine. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Good size bathroom but there is no "Wow" factor compared to Hazlitts which is similar in decor but goes a bit further in terms of the standard of the rooms. Tiny Television and small portions of... Staying in Mayfair

Neighborhood Profile
Mayfair
Set beside some of London's best parks and home to world-class galleries, luxurious hotels, and famed thoroughfares, the ultra upscale Mayfair is one of London's most exclusive haunts. Here the shopping is haute, the dining is exquisite, and the nightlife is vibrant. A casual stroll through the area’s chic streets will reveal that Michelin stars and chauffeured cars are practically the norm here. Even if you're on a tight budget, this exceptionally well connected swath of Central London is worth exploring, if only for the chance to take a peak at the goings on of upper crust English society.
