We wanted one night only near Paddington to catch a very early flight. The Hyde Park Court interior is shabby with steep staircases. Our room was a broom cupboard in the basement next to the breakfast room, I had to climb over the bed to get to the bathroom. No hand towels or bath mat, but quite the worst was... More

I don't think to return at this hotel but, also if I considered it below the average of Hotel in London I found it good for position (very close to Paddington Station) and quite cheap to sleep one night.

My fiance and I are a young couple and almost had a laugh when we saw the room. Our G1 room was lucky enough to have its own "bathroom" it was the size of a locker, the shower and sink were one unit and almost swallowed the toilet as well. The room was tiny and had a unique aroma. My... More

I am part of a 3 member team, working on a AV conference not far from Oxford Street. Unfortunately, our client was trying to save money and booked all three of us into, this hotel. First of all, it looked very nice on the out side, and the reception had a mirror under the reception desk (made it look upper... More

My friend and myself were staying here for two nights as tourists in London. To start off with the staff were friendly and the man on reception was helpful with directions. After we got our key, we were asked to wait for our room as it wasn't ready at mid day...? Even thou we were told half ten! We got... More

This place is considerably cheaper than the other hotels in London, so yeah you get what you pay for. No frills but perfect location. After reading the other reviews I asked for a room as high up as I could get to avoid the subway noise and it was really quiet. Probably too high, we were on the 4th floor... More

Ahem .... after a night in this hotel I can only compliment the place, due to us having a member of our party on crutches they noticed this and swapped us to a floor without asking, what a fab start .... the room was clean, decor well maintained and location was spotty dog!! The staff are a compliment to the... More

Nice location very close to Paddington station, clean and nice rooms, good value for money. Service provided by front office staff was extraordinary at several occasions. Strongly recommended for a short stay in London.
