5 minute walk from Gloucester Road tube with restaurants, pubs and supermarkets. Small, dirty, and untidy 1 bed studio. Bed was among the worst I have ever tried to sleep in. Staff was friendly, but could not make up for all the flaws.

Positive things first: The hotel is located in fancy Kensington, just a 5-minute walk from Gloucester Road tube station. Supermarkets, Restaurants and Pubs are within walking distance. And Astons does have beautiful rooms...I have seen them through cracked doors while housekeeping was in them. Wifi is free at ok speed. Now the negative things: I did not get one one... More

Agree with others about small size of room but this is London and unless you are prepared to pay big bucks, this is what you will get. Pay more, get more. This hotel is good for its location: easy to get to public transport, restaurants, shops, etc. We had room 47 which was quiet. It overlooked a garden which was... More

A single room as Astons Apartments for 3 nights was perfect. The room was tiny but clean and I had French Doors leading to a balcony overlooking the street. A little far to walk to the major attractions but the tube station is nearby. The bed was comfortable and I appreciated the tea kettle, toaster, microwave and fridge. There is... More

I loved having somewhere to stay for an affordable price for just one that also included a little fridge, microwave & sink. As usual the space is tiny but that's the way it is in London. It's weird being a grown man and sleeping in a single bed but they were big enough- not children's beds. I stayed for a... More

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. It's more than worth what you pay. People must consider how old the city of London is, and how old these buildings are. I believe that many tourists have ridiculous expectations for what a hotel should look like and possess for the low prices they want to pay. If I have any complaints it would... More

Stayed here for a week in an executive studio apartment. It was convenient as the tube and bus stops were only a short walk away. The apartment was functional but not luxurious. The 'servicing' was just the absolute basics.

My friend and I stayed in Aston Apartments in April 2013. We had booked and paid a hefty price for an executive room for the night. On arrival, we were told our room was no longer available and a twin room near the front door would have to do. Apologies were made but nothing could be done about what we... More

Charming accommodation in South Kensington.Great value for money! Everything you need for self-catering. Really friendly staff. Lovely views of the garden. Far from the madding crowd, but close to all the major venues.Do go for Executive though!

The location is great, a short walk from 3 different underground stations but also walking distance from the Natural History museum and other attractions. There are also a lot of eating options and grocery options nearby. The staff is helpful for giving directions and assistance. Booked for 4 nights in May 2014. We booked here because we wanted the option... More
