When we booked online, we thought it was a great price for the location in London. When we arrived we were met with very friendly front desk staff and they were happy to take our bags while we waited for our check in a bit later in the day. At first appearance the hotel looks very English and is in... More

We stayed here for two nights over the hottest weekend in August. Our room was sweltering but we were provided with a desk fan which did help. Me and my Husband were bitten to death by mosquitoes, which is not the hotels fault by any means. The room was nice and clean but the decor could use a bit of... More

What an awful experience! No air-conditioning; wide-open windows and small fan didn't begin to relieve the stifling air in the room. Construction pounding before 9:00 am. Desk personnel weren't friendly; one had trouble speaking and understanding English. No tourist brochures, except two bus tours. No lobby. Room was extremely cramped, as was the bathroom, though there was a full bathtub.... More

Rooms are small but functional and very clean. Lots of road traffic noise and as no air con you do need a window open. Breakfast is continental style but perfectly adequate. Four stars are awarded as the staff are excellent. Very polite and friendly. Nothing is too much effort for them.

My daughter and I stayed 5 nights in this hotel last July. Located about 10-15 minutes from Victoria Station and from there, very easy to get anywhere by metro; 5-10 minutes walk to Buckingham Palace, 3 minutes walk to the beautiful Westminster Cathedral; Westminster Abbey , Parliament and Big Ben are about 15-20 minutes walk. Nice lobby, beautiful paintings, only... More

Stayed here for several weeks for work. the hotel itself is in a great location, in a nice area and is clean and modern. Rooms are very nice and of a generous size. With no gym the thames is only a 10min run away. The breakfast is extortionate and the hotel restaurant very small. My recommendation would be to eat... More

Great hotel but we were woken at 08.00 by electric drilling and banging which went on for a good half hour. Breakfasts are a crazy price however good they may be: £17 for continental and £25 for full.

Having a room at the back of the hotel is really not to be desired, the view is rather depressive unless you imagine being in some sort of West Side Story musical in London. You can keep the curtain closed, a plus because the fabric is very damask like, as in the curtains as on the bed, matching the original... More

We enjoyed this hotel very much and I would stay here again, the location was fantastic and the hotel itself is nicely presented. We had an unfortunate start however as a lot of the rooms aren't air conditioned and we basically went sleepless the first night as it was rather warm so we went down to reception and asked if... Staying in Westminster

Neighborhood Profile
Westminster
If you only had an afternoon to experience London on a grand scale, Westminster would be a wise place to start. The ornate Houses of Parliament and Westminster Abbey sit adjacent at a corner of Parliament Square, and a short stroll along The Mall leads to Buckingham Palace. Trafalgar Square and Nelson's Column are just up the road as well. As captivating as the architecture is, the wonders of Mother Nature are highlights of the area too. St James's Park (arguably London's loveliest), the expansive Green Park, and pedestrian friendly tree lined paths along the river showcase the exquisite manicure provided by English gardeners. Just beyond the landmarks and the gorgeous outdoor spaces, quiet residential squares and age old local pubs offer a more subdued take on this global seat of power in the heart of London.
