We stayed for one night and had a very comfortable nights sleep in a room overlooking the park. All the staff were very helpful and efficient. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable. We had an evening meal in the restaurant which was served by very conscientious staff and the following morning had breakfast - we had a continental breakfast... More

Booked this at the last minute and stayed for one night. Hotel in 5-10 minutes walk from either Victoria/Pimlico/St James Park underground stations and is ideally situated for Westminster. Small check-in desk was staffed by two very friendly and helpful reception ladies and check-in was fast and efficient. I had a single room, small but very clean, comfortable and warm.... More

For a two night business trip I booked a single room and while it was certainly that, it had everything I needed, especially plenty of tea, coffee and milk! Clean and fresh bedding and towels daily. The breakfast was comprehensive and plentiful served by friendly staff for whom nothing was too much trouble. Reception staff and porters were very helpful... More

I stayed at the Grange Rochester Hotel for three days. The stay was made special due to the staff (especially Bilyana). They really do go out of their way to accommodate any requests you may have and are always lovely and polite.

I was booked into a single room that was very cramped and claustrophobic. The desk was cluttered with magazines, other reading material and the tv, so much so it was difficult to place my room service tray on! I found only one electrical socket and its position meant that the kettle had be placed on the floor to boil. During... More

I booked this hotel through late rooms so the price was reasonable for Central London. Its listed as 4 Star but in my eyes was more like Three. The room I had booked was a "small" single and small it was. No to much of an issue as I expected this. The room was clean but as mentioned by others... More

Located in quiet Vincent Square a few minutes from Victoria Station and all the central government offices this is an excellent place to stop overnight when doing business in Victoria. The hotel style is quality London Club with lots of polished brass and varnished mahogany. and the service is good.

stayed here in order to attend a meeting in London. Booked it by the Secret Escapes website as I was unwilling to pay some of the extortionate prices available for some budget hotels. Had a single bed room for £90 described as very small and it was as expected a very small box room with a small bathroom. The room... More

We stayed overnight at this hotel and had a lovely time. The hotel is conveniently situated for many attractions. The Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful, and the rooms were very clean and comfortable. Would definitely recommend and would be happy to book again if staying in London.

Staying in Westminster

Neighborhood Profile
Westminster
If you only had an afternoon to experience London on a grand scale, Westminster would be a wise a place to start. The ornate Houses of Parliament and Westminster Abbey sit adjacent at a corner of Parliament Square, and a short stroll along The Mall leads to Buckingham Palace. Trafalgar Square and Nelson's Column are just up the road as well. As captivating as the architecture is, the wonders of Mother Nature are highlights of the area too. St James's Park (arguably London's loveliest), the expansive Green Park, and pedestrian friendly tree lined paths along the river showcase the exquisite manicure provided by English gardeners. Just beyond the landmarks and the gorgeous outdoor spaces, quiet residential squares and age old local pubs offer a more subdued take on this global seat of power in the heart of London.
