Dear Sirs, I'm Luísa Almeida and I have stayed at the Royal Cambridge Hotel, London, from the 2nd till the 5th of March and I would like to present you a complaint about the hotel but mainly about the manager of the hotel - Heleny Othman. The hotel is in very bad conditions of conservation and mainly of cleanliness. When... More

As soon as the client made her comments to reception, we immediatley assisted with her requirements. Although the client may have assumed staff was being rude by asking her if she would like a curatin to cover the sky light, please be assured this is not the case. The hotel does not allow for breakfast to be taken out of... More

I stayed here mid week and found the hotel perfectly acceptable for my needs. Positives were location - close to both Cambridge Station and the City Centre (walking distance to each), good WiFi and TV choice. Negative was the décor. It was a little old fashioned. Would I stay again - YES.

From check in to check out what a great hotel. I was there on business for the weekend, rooms are good, fits in with local surroundings. Everything you need, super fast wifi and (free voucher from reception) Food was faultless , and good prices , hotel staff were always smiling and made you feel very welcome. A short walk into... This is one of those hotels, thankfully few and far between, where you don't really want to touch anything when you get into the room. I accepted that, given I only needed it for one night, and planned to be out at the theatre. I was precise in placing my things in a closet before setting out for the evening.... More

I stayed here for one night at the weekend, location is really good but hotel is poor, booked a room for me and my partner and my 18 month old boy and when we booked this I specifically stated that I needed a travel cot, after booking we then rang to confirm what the parking was like around the hotel... Desparately in need of a renovation, broken fixtures shabby paint, and cracked tiles. The breakfast was spam, beans, instant coffee or tea, toast and packet crossants everyday.... everyday!! It's as though they had no concept of offering variety let alone fresh food. Strongly advise you stay elsewhere.

I organised a group of friends to stay here for a night. When we arrived we were told that they had overbooked on the rooms and the rooms we booked online were not available. I'm a pretty positive guy (as you can see by my other reviews) and was not phased at this time as the reception clerk offered us... More

We went on a holiday to London and had this Hotel booked by our tour agent. It was absolutely terrible to call itself a hotel. It's more like a hostel than a hotel. However they had the room cleaned daily with fresh towels and bed spreads. But the room was too cramped and the best part was it was on the... More

No way is this a three star hotel.. Only window in room looked out onto internal corridor Which meant keeping curtains closed for privacy. Shower so small nearly impossible to enter. Sink so small unable to fill kettle and had to fill from mugs under tap..TV not working. Single beds that were so narrow that if you were not careful... More
