This was my third stay at the Park Plaza and as usual it was a generally very pleasant experience. The rooms are spacious and the bed is one of the most comfortable I have experienced in a hotel...as good as the Sheraton Sleeper beds. Even after six nights I was ache free which is unusual for me. Reception, concierge, housekeeping... More

The Park Plaza Victoria is a Great hotel. We stayed here last year as we all agreed that this year we would book the same hotel. The great selling point I that it is only 4 mins walk from Victoria station. We got checked in and your 5th floor room was very comfortable with a good sized bathroom, decent shower... More

Stayed there for a long weekend. The location is great, about 15 minutes to Buckingham Palace, 20 minutes to Big Ben, Westminster, London Eye, etc. The staff were very nice and accomodating. The rooms are nice and clean, with very nice toiletries. The restaurant onsite is superb. Highly recommend doing the breakfast there, as the options and quality are very... More

Hotel is nice and room looked ok. But the ventilation/cooling/heating system was just awful. I really struggled to get any sleep because of lack of fresh air and waves of hot air being blown at me at regular hours. I tried everything to fix the ventilation but the control knob just didn't have any effect on the temperature. Won't be... More

We chose this hotel because of the ratings and location. The location was great for us but the hotel leaves something to be desired. The room was worn and tired (pillows, carpet, and chairs show a great amount of wear). This would have been overlooked except for the fact the air conditioning wasn't functioning. Apparently the Hotel has a system... More

I stayed in the Park Plaza Victoria with my company as part of our yearly company party. The hotel room was clean and in good shape. It had all the facilities you would expect - Fridge, Iron, etc. The bed was comfortable and my room was quiet. The breakfast was delicious and the waiting staff attentive. The conference facilities were... More

I've stayed in PPV twice for business and both times were very happy with the room, food and staff. The rooms are big and spacious, bathrooms clean and pleasant. The location is superb, just a few minute walk from Victoria station - easy if you are travelling to London and easy if you want to hop on the tube and... More

Staying in Pimlico

Neighborhood Profile
Pimlico
Time spent in Pimlico is a slower-paced affair than most other Central London neighborhoods. This largely residential area orderly arranged beside the Thames, is a treasure trove of quaint pubs, subtle architectural charms and local boutiques. Here, art lovers thrill at the chance to visit the world class Tate Britain gallery for its collection of British art from the 1500s to the present. For peace and quiet and some downtime spent along the Thames, Pimlico is highly recommended.
