Hotel is an easy walk from Victoria Station. Lovely modern lobby, open air. Our room was good size for London, and well appointed. Staff is friendly and helpful. There is a lobby bar which serves food, and a wonderful Italian restaurant named Tozi. Close to theaters.

We could only book a twin room, but at check in this was changed for us to a double. The room was great - large, big bathroom with a shower and a bath. Full glass sink area. We ate out - lots of options locally, including I went out to fetch breakfast so we could eat in the room at... More

Being a Londoner myself, i booked this hotel for my family to stay while visiting me. I am truly ashamed that my family had to stay here as this hotel is just awful. It started with a room of which the air-con was on 40C and would not switch off. My family was told this is normal. Then after a... More

In the sordid Victoria station neighborhood, on a noisy thoroughfare, thus ageing building lacks the soundproofing that would make it acceptable. Dirty, run down and unloved, it struggles to attract anything else but the travelling salesman on a budget. The phone doesn't work. Nor does the heating. It's been tur' off to save money.

We stayed one night in the Park Plaza and were very pleased that we chose this hotel. The staff were excellent, the room (we were upgraded) was large and they had very thoughtfully acknowledged my Wife's birthday that day. The room was clean and generally well presented and most importantly blissfully quiet all night. The bed was large and reasonably... More

Staying in Pimlico

Neighborhood Profile
Time spent in Pimlico is a slower-paced affair than most other Central London neighborhoods. This largely residential area orderly arranged beside the Thames, is a treasure trove of quaint pubs, subtle architectural charms and local boutiques. Here, art lovers thrill at the chance to visit the world class Tate Britain gallery for its collection of British art from the 1500s to the present. For peace and quiet and some downtime spent along the Thames, Pimlico is highly recommended.
